OK, so what IS that serrated edge at the bottom of the image? Something limiting the field of view of the camera? It's clearly NOT the terminator...

The serrated edge suggests cutting. Perhaps a tooth of some sort at high magnification....

....which means the 'where' is under a microscope.

I actually know what it is now as I cheated, but only a very few people on this planet would ever recognise this without cheating.......

The (almost) uniformly serrated sedge could benefit from some explanation. Also curious is the parallel row of features "upward" in the photo.
