It is whatever it says on the installation sheet, which will be found in the Commissioning Report document.

Such a document probably resides only in fantasy-land.

I could recommend several books for you to buy on switchgear design.

The question is ridiculous. It could be any within a wide range of amps.

If the circuit breaker tripped the rating was correct. If the line failed the rating was incorrect.

From the information offered nobody would be able to tell.

1. 1 Amp and some extra?

2. If you are tripping over the OHL it is too low and needs restrung or taller poles are needed.

3. The CB is rated at what it says on the label

4. I give up and did I win the prize?

What does your text book and lecture notes say about circuit protection?

I always hated missing a day in college and missing out on some basic but very important information! You might ask a classmate if you could copy their notes?

It says in small print, at the end of the instruction on the little packet, if you do the circuit, wear a protective device. Does that mean a rain coat and galoshes, (wellies), or a condiment?

The OP claims to be "power system engineer in substation".

Sadly, he is totally clueless.

This is why I will NEVER leave the Good old US of A, so much of the rest of the world is the land where safety regulations forgot. I don't want to be electrocuted in my cold morning shower in Assendia, Nowhere because A) they haven't discovered hot water yet, and B) some monkey ate through the power line, causing the live end to fall into the cistern on top of the building I'm showering in.

Try the UK. Makes the US look stupid when it comes to safety. In fact ,it makes the whole world look stupid and under regulated. But they learned to be like the US and they sue for anything and everything. Capitalism. Hmmm!

The UK allows 'loop wiring,' where you can have the hot on BOTH sides of a broken wire.

I'm not living in a house unless it has proper wiring, inside metal pipe. Those Chicogoans have it right, protect, protect, fro-flippin-tect.
