Well, our billionaire guy wants to send people to Mars. At least that is physically possible.
The analogy between the brain and a computer is nebulous at best. If you could build a neural network computer that duplicated the function of your every brain cell and could recreate the exact synaptic connections between nerve cells and duplicate whatever neural signals are circulating in your brain, maybe that "brain" would somehow be conscious and have all your life memories.
But, IMHO, it would be a perfect clone and exactly the same as "you" to everyone else, but when you die, you die, even if your clone lives on. So immortality is not for you, but maybe for your clone for as long as his neural network computer lasts.
Yes I think your accumulated knowledge becomes less and less unique as information becomes more and more ubiquitous....and your personal experiences fade in the memory over time, possibly more to your detriment than advantage....You might just as well procreate, as the most basic part of you lives on in your offspring....and I might add that it would be foolish to think that your existence as an android would be without it's own unique problems....

And eyes. Didn't really get into the music until the second movement. The first was too abstract for me. However, for me with a lot of music, familiarity brings enjoyment. If I listened to this 3 or 4 times, I would probably end up liking it.
Enjoyed the art too.

"Yes - if we sweat too much we dehydrate, and having done this about twice too often while cycling I can attest to the fact that is a definite frailty."
Your rationale for the "Yes" answer is a bit weak (frail?) IMHO. Perhaps if you had read the owner's manual about keeping the fluids topped up.
Wellll...the worst case was nearly unavoidable. July the 4th - close to 90 F - breezy - 117 mile ride with people half my age who formed a paceline and only wanted to stop well beyond the half way point. You don't get out of a paceline on a long ride - ever. Once dropped, you are on your own. By the time I got to refill my bottles, it was way too late. Last 20 miles were horrible. I should have called for help. Yes - I was out of the paceline by then. Way out. Another fellow who was also dehydrated suffered back with me.
Okay, so the other time was a failure to follow the owner's manual - hey you have to learn somehow.

Well it adds a requirement of adding water all the time, possible rusting or mineral residue or bacterial or fungal growth, the robot would end up needing to be spray washed everyday, flushed, decontaminated, lubricated, shined and polished....who wants a high maintenance robot?
"The only thing left to create,,is the artificial soul."
Why do we need that, we've already proven that HUMANS can function without souls. Just look at any lawyer payday lender for proof.
(Never thought I'd see the day when a 'profession' would get re-rated to be below lawyer. I was sure the bottom of the list was locked in place: Lawyer, Murderer, Rapist, Child Molester, Career Politician.)
(Yes, I have less respect for Rapists than I do for Murderers. Murder someone and their suffering ends, rape someone and they have to deal with the physical and emotional scars for the rest of their lives. And remember, this far down on the scale 'respect' is a relative term, several steps above lawyers is the entry 'dog poo on the bottom of my show,' so everything mentioned here is in the negative category.)
