08/31/2007 4:23 AM

http://cr4.globalspec.com/thread/11598 is reviewing some of the most viscous fluids around the home.

What about alternative uses for common fluids? Here's a start:

can be used instead of brake fluid in a car's hydraulic system, in an emergency, according to Urban Legend.

I have heard that they can make labels on milk bottle change colour when the milk is sour. Which is good blue or green?

I think we need the help of Del.

Milk can be used for a lot of things.

You are joking?

Think about this...

1) What is the boiling point of milk?

2) In terms of physics, what process is used to stop a moving car?

What about the old can of coke you have laying around.... that's good for loosening nuts and bolts...

As well as for its acidity to clean limescale, coins etc...

The barman caught a dog in the bar stealing the snacks. He cut of his tail just behind the ears. The dog did not make it and came back the night to get his tail.

The barman told him "sorry we don't retail spirits after hours"

Is retailing another use for booze?

If you have a burn or been stung by a jellyfish you can always wee on the affected area! This is quite a common liquid in the house!

Chicken stock makes good glue!

Honey, jam, syrup good for Del's wasp nests!

And it seems that Cameron Diaz has found a unique use for.......see other thread!
