Hydrotreater Test

Hello

we have a Naphtha Hydrotreater tower,inside this equipment "wellded supports"(like spider legs) is welded to make the transportation and lifting easier,the vendor says we can do the hydro test without removing of this supports, is that possible to do the hydro test by this supports that are welded to equipment body?

I don't think your vendor is correct; that simply doesn't make sense.

The best source of information is always the Engineer/Surveyor for the company that is supplying burst/collapse indemnity insurance cover on the equipment.

And this is something that can be answered over a simple telephone call with that individual. Make the call.
