Can you be more specific as to what data you are looking for. Are you referring to a ball mill?

Go on and give us a little more to play with! I have absolutly no idea what you want help with! Please don't say a ball machine, because that would make you look totally foolish! Tell us what the machine needs to do, and with what it has to do it with, and how you want it to do it!

What we mean is the machine used to finish the balls of the deep groove ball bearing

you can see it in this link http://science.howstuffworks.com/question513.htm,

we need anybody to help in getting any desgins of any similar machines, Ideas ,materials of components used, manufacturers of similar machines allover the world and any useful data , as we are in the data gathering stage

thanks for the great help

You want to design a ball maker machine.

Please ask the noonan machine company (was attached in your link) manufacture.

Hi,

do you really want to build such a machine and use it for commercial steelball manufacturing?

Then you should secure help (ideas and money)from industry because this is not a small task.

And you should first buy and analyze a used machine of this type.

And you should decide at which diameter to start with.

I saw these machines for balls as small as 0.3mm and as big as 30mm so there are big diffrerences.

And you will have to design a compete street of many different machines:

1. the cutter and cold-former

2. the ring puncher that is removing the "Saturn-ring".

3. the soft grinder

4. the hardening oven

5. three stages of hard grinder

6. cleaner

7. sorter

8. packing

All of this is not a simple task.

So if you want to start this business in Egypt I would recommend to buy a complete plant.

If you want to design such a machine you should dig into the fundamentals and necessities of precision machining, machine errors, vibration in machines, thermal distortions.

If you have done this ask some precise questions and I will help you.

Inbetween you can contact Prof.ElShafei at your University for help from industry, he has a pretty good overview what is going on in engineering and we had some contacts in the past.

Ahhh you mean a machine similar to how they make chocolate candy or Malteezers balls?

Have you looked at a concrete mixer, without the mixing vanes, and some fine grain polishing material?

Which kind of Ball?

Used in Ball Bearing's "BALL" or ball valve's "BALL"?

Even plastic "BALL",rubber"Ball" or Ball for sporting?

Do you want to know, manufacture or machine's detail?
