Botanical Gardens Converting to Produce

04/05/2020 11:17 AM

Here's an interesting read about what's happening in Canada.

Share the news with the park management official near you and plant that first seed of an idea.

Push for green space to be productive.

The victory garden of our times.

I pick my blueberries in the same place I tip toe

through the poison ivy etc.

I'll leave weeding out the toxic flora to the experts, however, I'll assume they know how to grow squash without killing anyone at all.

Botanical gardens are honestly breathtaking.

I randomly had a thought of how amazing it would be if I could grow my own food at home, specifically a mushroom soup. Then it hit me. What if I just grow my own mushrooms at home (using mushroom growing kits). For anyone who doesn't know, you grow mushrooms through kits and can teach your kids to grow them too. Growing mushrooms at home is something that every gardener should attempt.

That said, mushroom growing at home just has ONE problem. If you’re a beginner, finding the best mushroom growing kit for beginners is not an easy job. Some are super delicate so you also have to worry if it is the strongest mushroom grow kit.

So recommend me the best mushroom kits i can get off of amazon.

AND

What are the best mushroom growing kits for beginners?

The way to conduct a poll on this forum is to list the name of each one in separate answers to this thread below and wait for Good Answer votes on each one.

The chances of such a poll being statistically significant are below 1%.

It pays to remember that over 68% of statistics are made up on the spot.

Speaking of mushrooms...

a few weeks ago, I inoculated some oak rails with Shiitake mushroom spores,... I have a few other varieties also... button head and red caps. They work best in lawn and garden waste. Also some in sawdust and straw mulch...

I was taking some pictures I’ll post t as soon as they start producing.

Don't botanical gardens contain a lot of poisonous plants?

Yes they do, and also that very same poison, is a cure for an ailment we didn’t discover yet.
