Alternative Energy Forum on CR4

11/29/2007 9:43 AM

I just joined CR4 as it was stated that it provided a forum for alternative energy, yet I do not find such a forum. Where do you keep it? Thanks Steve

Welcome to CR4, doggod. Alternative energy is such a large and popular topic that it's covered in many of the different sections on CR4. My suggestion is to use the "Search all of CR4" box on the right-hand side of the page. If you search on the phrase "alternative energy", for example, you'll notice that the first story (Alternative Energy for large Scale Installations) is in the Civil Engineering forum, whereas the second story (from the World's Smallest Motor) is in the General Discussion forum. So, think outside of the forum construct here, and you'll find information about a wide variety of topics. Hope this helps. - Moose

Also, we have a number of blogs that focus on alternate energy sources.

MaSu on Machines, Meteors & Mozzies includes a year long study called An Engineer's Look at the Future of Energy. It's a soup to nuts coverage of all forms of energy production, with each topic receiving its own blog entry and lively discussion.

Alternative Power Blog is a roundup of entries about industry trends reflecting alternative power; fuel cells and hydrogen cells; biofuels such as ethanol; wind, water and geothermal energy; and anything else related to renewable power generation.

May be you could get some thread

Best wishes
