Thanks Sparkstation. Wellington, New Zealand is my location. I contract to a lardge food plastics packaging supplier, after several decades of service I am always concerned with safety both within the electrical industry and the process of the equipment within the factory enviroment. In this subject request, I would like to assist those staff members who use our dangerous goods rooms with the correct and simple facts in how to proceed with total safety, without offending or stepping on the toes of specific printing department staff or management. Unlike a dripping tap that wears away the stone slowly, I would like to present a opperating proceedure that would be wellcomed as a safe practical easly implimented format that would give universel convidence and reasurance to everybody at our plant.

Kind regards, Murray

The first fire or Explosion should convince them. If they wont listen now they wont until they see it happen

There is a forum for electrostatic problems, might this be better there?

Static earth has to be same as electrical earthing but have to be independent and to be checked at regular interval . You mist use conductive flooring and all operators must use conductive shoes and hand bands to ensure that static charges are avoided. Do mail me your details about the work place further details can be given
