Automotive vs general content

12/23/2021 2:04 PM

It appears to me that "Engineering 360" has gone predominantly automotive in its content. There seems to be much more automotive content than there was when I joined many years ago.

Seems like it, except for the monthly puzzle.

The "Hemmings Motor News" seems to be the only blog that is still active...What we don't get much of anymore is automotive troubleshooting questions, seems every type of car, now has its own website....yes even the Chevy Cavalier...

I've noticed that trend as well. I suspect it is an undesirable side effect of the steps the Admin had to take to reduce the Trolls, Spammers, and undesired Advertisers. The primary objective of those steps does seem to have been accomplished!

I have made the same observation. It seems like the previous administrators had a knack of garnering more and varied interests. We are now down to just a few regular contributors. While I did not start many posts, I used to find a lot more where I could contribute my 2 cents worth, as it were.

Questions on other topics have not come to mind recently, then. Perhaps forum contributors might try harder in order to accommodate.
