how to choose the AG13 and cr44 battery?

Ag13 are supposed to be silver and last 5x longer than the alkaline LR44 but the Chinese use the codes interchangeably. I didn't know 357s were compatible with LR44 and AG13 either.

They are as "cheap as chips", typically £0.25GBP each retail. It won't break the bank to buy a blister-pack of both types, and use them up as needed.
