Power Graduation Project

The graduation project was designed to test your ability to apply the knowledge taught to you.

The standards of countries however differ and therefore it would be unfair to impose a more difficult task onto you (or to easy).

This is what you need to do:

List the outcomes set by the course you took.

Rank them according to your liking.

Start from the top and select a few and build (innovate) a project around them.

If you can't manage post your ranked list.

I did but my supervisor needs a new creative research subject

Hi Smart Viral - "Viral Protection" sounds promising. (Please ignore)

I'm not EE but I will try.

In SA we are subjected to "load sharing" (Due to bad planning)

The supply to areas are cut off for a period and then the next Area get switched off when the demand exceeds the supply. (more like darkness sharing)

This method do help by keeping demand down but a few computers did not make it, I would even say that it is dangerous because switches are left on etc.

It would be nice if for example all the geysers can be switched off centrally. (It has been done with a ripple switch in our area - but was aborted)

The project can be to devise a safe, cheap method of selectively switching off uses.

Another project may be protection against cable theft.

Ok it may not be the right protection but it will be appreciated by us
