Fit a flow meter, a pressure gauge, a temperature meter, a electrical meter, a hour meter, a timer. Sit and check out each data every 15 min . restart . stop. restart. After 100 tests you graph the pump flow n efficiency.

Thank you,

I will make graph against discharge pressure Vs Flow rate, Power Vs Flow rate. Now how to calculate head in order to calculaate efficiency?

Efficiency is output power/input power.Calculate the Hydraulic Power of pump using head, flow rate ( refer text books for formula).Delivery Head is the height from center of the pump to the top of the tank where it is pumped.Record Input power using power analyser.Take motor efficeincy also to consideration.

Pump efficiency = pressure gain x volumetric flowrate x 100% / electrical power input

all expressed in compatible units.
