What is exactly the problem? Among earthing that we have in the plant is IE refers to Instrument Earth,IS Earth refers to IS connected Earth,ME refers to Mechanical Earth or Dirthy Earth. It is a practice that all the IE,and IS are floating, not connected to any wire to natural Earth Ground. ME and EE for Electrical Earth are the one connected directly to Earth Ground.

At our home for example it is an EE that is connected directly to nature Earth Ground and this is the same as ME.

Hello Guest,

You need to explain what the problem actually is, so that you may be helped.

EXAMPLE:

It would be like me saying to you: I have a problem with a car.

I have not described the make and model of car, nor told anyone what the problem actually is.

Now if I rephrased what I said to something like:

I have a 1956 Jaguar car, which makes rumbling noises in the left-hand rear wheel as I travel round a right-hand turn.

Then readers could carefully analyse what the problem might be, and help me to solve the problem.

So you need to call back here, and advise further.

Then you may be assisted.

Kind Regards....

Hello and ramvinod

I have taught apprentices, also younger Engineers etc over the years.

It seems that many persons are not taught how to think for themselves these days.

I'm sure that is why the questions asked are not explained properly, so that proper answers may be given.

Kind Regards....

Yes, gigaconcept.com

That could be one answer for the rumbling sound as described earlier.

Can you think of another?

Kind Regards....

He He!

We get influenced by Del's Off Topic seriousness, do we?

I completely agree with you that we well defined problem is:

Easier to communicate

Easier to understand

Easier to solve

As for your hypothetical car problem (I am presuming it is hypothetical, sorry!), your tire carcass may be damaged from prolonged parking or road hazard.

Another good deduced possibility.

Can you think of any more?

It's midnight here, I'll check back in the morning, see what you come up with.

Kind Regards....

Please define the acronyms and describe the problem. This will place the reader in a better position to help.
