	SIMPLE wireless ... I think this is a contradiction in terms. You will need to supply more detail... support any surfaces.. ???? This is ridiculous, you must be more specific. I don't expect you want to be able to support liquids, 1metre cubes of jelly, or live eels. What is this for? A commercial appliction or a school project...? 	ie if i want to build a robotic arm to climb(using stepper motor) a electric post, the surface may be smooth in some cases and rough some in some cases..so how to make my arm to stand or stick on that surface... for a particular time....

	what is simple? it depends on your freedom degree( dimensions)? how much do you invest? then add a wireless commucincation interface. you can adopte any protocols.
