At first glance I was going to say infeed rollers of a wood chipper but the bar in the middle threw me. Then I noticed the taper. So a guess.

Reamer to clean sediment out of sewer pipe or drainage pipe.

Hi,

Got the Pencil sharpener picture, but the later 'Pencil Holder' had us foxed. But more importantly, when, where and why, would you need 3 pencils in a holder.....what was being drawn?

I appreciate your picture challenges.....excellent, keep them coming.

Cheers,

Ray

Good question!

My music teacher had a thingy to hold 5 pieces of chalk, so he could draw a musical staff on the board in one sweep of his arm. But THREE lines? Hmmm...

Hey! When I was first learning to write, the teacher used triple-lined paper. We printed letters along the bottom line, and some of them (c, o, e, a, etc.) were supposed to go as high as the second line, others (t, l, h, d, b) went up to the third.

Maybe this gizmo is for teachers who don't have access to triple-lined paper?
