I have made the mechanical mathematician (for making the curve for parabolic dishes). So any village population in any poor country should be able to make a large dish for solar collection or radio wave collection. And the Pulser pump. A water power driven pump with no moving parts. Both are open. This year I am making a mould from clay (with the mathematician) so I make a tracking solar accumulator. (To collect solar heat over the day for night use). The tracking solar accumulator is an open project too. I could not attempt it without the mathematician. Brian White

I appreciate your idea and want to ask some more questions. What about the cost I mean have you considered manufacturing from local material? If that is the case things will be simple as far as poor countries concerned.

Is the water pump like that of RAM pump? All in all your effort are great and see you sharing the world with your potential inside.

The water pump uses a different principle than the ram pump. I believe it would be most suitable to harness low head high flow situations whereas ram pumps harness medium to high head low flow situations. It should be possible to make most of the pump from local materials. The best solar reflector and solar cooker I have made so far was made with cob backing (clay sand and straw mixed together and let dry hard) and I stuck kitchen foil straight to the wet cob. cheap and Perfect for poor people to copy! I used the mechanical mathematician to scribe the curve for my parabolic dish. Currently, I am making a big cob mould for a solar tracking accumulator. Weather has been terrible but I am designing as I go so slow progress may be a blessing. I also have to scavange wood to make some of the parts. The mathematician and mould are being made together which will mean (Hopefully) a more rigid structure than the last time and a more accurate parabolic dish too. This time the mathematician is very simple but very sturdy and more accurate. I am making it as a model for village scale production. When western industry sees it, they will be able to shell them out like peas. This will happen in the near future, but first we have to prove it works and that there is a market for it. This absolutely depends on early adopters. Unfortunately I do not see any yet. Brian

I understand that you work on a pump mechanism that over come the disadvantages of RAM pump; the big amount of water need or the loss. Can you tell me the efficiency as compared to the RAM Pump? If it is good so that will be the great solution for the rural people of developing countries; like my country Ethiopia.
By the way I am much impressed about the commitment that you have on developing practical experimentations on the renewable sectors, keep it up.

The pulser pump is not as efficient as a ram pump. But it does not compete with ram pumps. It can use high volume low head sources. Ram pumps use low volume medium head sources. I believe that cost versus benefit is the correct way to decide if you want a pulser pump or not.
