Hello MARWANMASARWEH

Is this a Class or Homework Question?

I have interpreted your <"....trasformer...."> as "transformer".

If you are genuine with your Question, then the full procedure covers hundreds of A4 pages of paper, and may consist of a Commissioning/Testing Manual, in several Volumes, perhaps a foot or more of bookshelf.

The Commissioning/Testing Manual is always specific to each installation.

Each part of each item needs to be carefully checked, tested, and Certified as complying with all required Standards and Specifications.

Special Tools and Testing Equipment are also necessary.

If your Substation is a commercially manufactured one, the full information should have been supplied with the unit, as it was shipped to your location.

Normally that full Commissioning/Testing Manual, is inside the Tap-changer, or Low-Voltage Air-filled Cable terminal Box, with the other full copy being sent separately via courier to "The Electrical Engineer" of the Company which purchased that Substation.

If the Substation has been purchased as a second-hand (Pre-used) item, ask the Seller/Supplier for the Manual, and ensure you obtain at least 1 complete copy, preferably both, as they are no good to the previous owners now the Substation is not in their possession.

If the Equipment is new, or the Seller is unhelpful, contact the Makers of the Substation equipment, (You may be asked to pay for these), and request the Manual (2 copies) keep one in the Test Laboratory for your use, the other in the Electrical Engineer's Office, as a Reference.

Such a Substation as you describe contains delicate electrical and electronic relays and control mechanisms, all interconnected with many multi-core cables, all easily damaged if you are not absolutely certain of what you are doing, all require the proper Tools and Test Equipment, plus the Manuals, all require a good understanding by two persons who are doing the testing etc.

2 persons are always needed for safety and a cross-check on the actions of the other, before and during the actions, with both signing the Certification when all completed.

Trust you feel assisted.

Kind Regards....

....then the top priority is to contact the Original Equipment Manufacturer for a copy of the manual that was supplied with the equipment, and go from there.

Hello again, MARWANMASARWEH

You will need to obtain details of all equipment in the Substation, right down to each device, relay, controller, and such, plus all wiring and connection wiring details.

It is going to take a lot of time, because the Project will need to be foolproof, with every step of all maintenance, testing, Certification written down so a total stranger could do the work, without any errors taking place.

Having made up Maintenance and Testing Manuals over the years, you may well be looking at well in excess of 1,000 man hours of your time, if you know what you are doing.

As you might understand, it is not possible to write such an Instructional manual from a remote place, you will need all OEM data on every item, that is where you need to start.

Thus it is far cheaper to obtain the Manuals from the OEM maker of the Substation.

Is there any reason why you cannot contact the Makers of the Substation?

Kind Regards from far away....

dear Marwanmasarweh..

let me tell you something from my experience related to your query,

I hope you are a maintenance engr electrical. then..

1- you make complete study about your equipments/substations to be maintained.

2- Conduct visual inspection in every Three month

3- conduct complete mechanical & electrical performance test for parts & insulation in every three year.

hope you got some idea.
