DOE Software Evaluation

My company is involved with military grade weapons R&D. I have been tasked with evaluating Design of Experiments software packages. I have very little knoweledge on the subject and no exposure to any of the available packages. If anyone could give me some advice I would surely appreciate it.

Simply put I have the time available to add this to my workload. We're a small company < 100 employees. Head of engineering +5 engineers is our dept total.
