Nobody wants it, mate. No-one's buying CO2 at the moment.

Try Dodgy Dave in Aveley. <Splutter>

The market is slightly saturated at present.

You may however buy carbon credits and get rid of some.

Hello Guest,

You should always think about how to dispose of unwanted material, before making it.

What about a nice process of using Hydrogen input and making Food, carbohydrates etc.

Of course green algae, grass, trees and suchlike do that every day, by the hundreds of quadrillions of tonnes of CO2

Thank God for designing the Chlorophyll molecule, and all which goes with the ecosystem, which works seamlessly and well, providing we don't interfere too much.

Kind Regards....

I think you guys are missing the point. Greenhouses in fact pump in extra CO2 to help plants grow. There are many instances where they will use their boilers to produce CO2, release the flue gases into the greenhouse and store the hot water in large, insulated hot water tanks to be used at night...or in some cases put it down the drain.

If you want to sell it, we'd have to know the region and we might be able to do a google... Although, what i've said is basically all i know, so i wont be useful at all. I'd suggest simply calling up other local greenhouses and seeing if they would be interested in purchasing your CO2. If they arent, maybe ask them if they sell their excess CO2 to a dealer, then find out who that dealer is.

Compressed CO2 is sold as a fire extinguishing agent. It is also used to convert water and syrup into fountain sodas.

But if you really want to sell the co2 and make lots of money, try this.

Compress it and store it into small cylinders similar to the tanks propane is sold in. Label it as Hydrogen and sell it to those that want an easy hydrogen conversion. Some of these people are very gullible.

Dear Guest,

We are working with a company that produces ~3,000 tons of CO2 per day. (lime plant) With proper technology this will put out about 1,000 tons of dry algae per day! This translates into about 3,000 barrels of algae oil per day times $100 per barrel equals $300,000.00 gross returns per day. Then you still have a big pile of pressed, dry algae that has at least a dozen or more potentional markets.

As you can see, CO2 stack gas can be quite profitable.

Cheers

Scout what part of the world are you in? Your process sounds very interesting.

Mike,

USA, Missouri, along the Mississippi river. We have river barges available to take the oil to a large refinery only 50 miles up river.

I have a customer with a very large high end green house and they direct vent their boiler into the green house. The only real issue is working in the green house requires limited exposure or air breathing equipment. But my customer loves the result. It helps warm the house and the flowers like the CO2.

So talk a major flower grower into building next door and make them a deal.

are you find it hard to convince customers to go more efficient? We've been noticing that greenhouses have such razor thing margins for profit that they are very cautious about spending their money.

If I may be so rude as to ask you a question. You do not sound like you are of Chinese origin, therefore I would say at a guess you must be Indian.

Please clarify. I and many others in CR4 find it quite "off putting" when one fails to identify themselves both by "name" and country of origin.

"If I may be so rude as to ask you a question."

No! STFU.

"I and many others in CR4 find it quite "off putting" when one fails to identify themselves both by "name" and country of origin."

better.

But, since it annoys so many people when guests post, why don't you ask the person in charge to remove that function instead of targeting individuals who don't know any better.
