Do you want to work --

On a robot that can do Glass cutting and wall climbing separately?

Or

On a robot that can cut glass with hands and can climb Walls with legs simultaneously

Or

On a robot that can climb a wall first and then cut the window glass?

Or

On a robot that can climb a wall first and then cut the window glass and probably can enter in a room as lifeguard?

Or

2 Different robots one can climb on wall and second can cut the glass?

Looking forward.

If you are unwilling to take the time to write full English words, then many of us are unwilling to help!

Sounds too much like a thief's robot.

Maybe one that can clean or paint the wall it is climbing...

Why? You want to cut glass in high rising buildings and enter? You do anything like that and whosoever gives you the idea gets caught too.

G'day folks,

  • You want to cut glass in high rising buildings and enter?

Don't know about the regulations elsewhere but in Australia if you are trying to surreptitiously gain access to a skyscraper cutting holes in the windows isn't the way to go about it. Besides most of them being double glazed they are all tempered safety glass so you would end up with thousands of bits of glass flying everywhere.

"Help, I have fallen and cant get up"

How about a robot or room gantry that can help the elderly get off the floor when they fall and dont have the strength to get up.

Please come back when you learn to speak English. There is a time and place for everything but this is one where English is appreciated. We have enough problems with non-English speaking people to have to contend with this.

I did a similar project as my final on the university Mech engineering. I had to design a wall climbing robot that coud go from wall to ceiling (90deg angle) and around the corner (270deg angle) and could make curves left and right and had to be IP65 for applications in wet tanks and could manage round inner surfaces of a tank. It should be able to climb on rough surfaces (not only glass). It shoud be max as big as a vacuum cleaner. It should have 2 camera's aboard.

A huge spec that grew and grew during the project. I designed and built a demonstrator for some parts of the spec. The time I spent was approx a year. At the end there appeared not enough budget and not enough availabla capacitiy at the uni to make the designed parts quickly.

I learned very very much of it, because I seached many suppliers for parts.

The spec was too complex to realize within the estimated time and money. I don't know if the guys at the uni finished the project after I left. I learned very important lessons with respect to project management of it.

The end conclusion was that the robot was feasible, but was relat. heavy because we could not design every singe part of it, but had to buy them for time and money reasons.

My design was ready, but it would take too long to wait for the parts to be made. I finished my masters and started with my first job, with many benefits of that project.

Note1:During that period a also saw a simple robot that could move into two directions on flat (glass) surfaces, using pneumatic cilinders and vacuum ejector and suction cups.

Note2: The control of the mechanics can be a project on itsself.

When you google, you can find many ideas for your project.

I did the project on a German university: http://www.aps-mechatronik.de/

BR,

Rik.

How about a robot that can button and fold a shirt for handicapped people. The buttoning part should keep you and your professor fairly busy.

Will your robot be autonomous?

I highly recommend that before progressing on your mechanical engineering career you spend some good quality time in a technical writing course. The extensive use of jargon, "text messaging" verbiage, and poor punctuation will fair your poorly in the real world. People will not take either you or your inquiry seriously until you grow up and stop writing like a child.

If you desire serious treatment of your problem, write like an adult, not a love struck teenager. Then we'll be happy to assist.
