Best Wishes and Greetings for New Year 2009.

01/06/2009 7:26 AM

I remember Dr Shyam's new year greetings sent last year i.e.2008, to CR4 Friends, quoted below, which holds good for inspiration in the year 2009 also: "You are the driving force of today and will make a much better tomorrow to live in. I am sure you all have power to change and so the history be written in your name. Does not matter how much physically weak or strong you are. You are the son or daughter of the Universe and it all belongs to you forever. You are here now and you will be here again and again to inherit it. It is all yours and forever." Best Wishes and Greetings for New Year 2009. Regards, N.V.Mani

Ah! It's only 2009 according to those that follow the protocol in ISO 8601:2004 embracing the Gregorian calendar!

Given that there are a number of other date systems in use in various parts of the world, is the best global compromise, "Season's Greetings to all our readers"?
