Davit for 24" Vertical Opening

Dear CR4 Master..

Can anyone know or predict, how much is the weight of davit for 24" vertical openings? Including davit arm, sleeve, stiffening, U-bar, eye bolt, opening handle, etc.

This is to help me to fill in my project bill of quantity (BoQ).

Hi Premium

You will probably find that no one will be arsed to do the sums for you even given the info so.......why don't you do it!

Rough out the volume of materials in meters cubed and then multiply by 7806 = kg!

If you are at a lose you can refer to a "standardized" davit assembly within Process Industries Practices (PIP) PIP VEFV1100:
