Welcome.

There are only a couple of rules to remember:

1. Don't use all caps,....ever.

2. We growl and grump and sometimes flame. We're engineers and that may be the only signs of a personality that we have. Don't take it personally. Especially if we use emoticons to soften the flame. Feel free to do the same. Just don't attack our mothers, dogs, or choice of trucks.

3. Feel free to offer an opinion on any subject, except those that are dangerous or illegal. Likewise expect to have the next poster say you're wrong. There's an old saying, "Arguing with an engineer is akin to wrestling with a pig in the mud. After several hours, you realize the pig likes it."

4. Bring up any subject you like. If you don't know where to put it, use "General discussion". If nobody likes the subject, we'll ignore you. If somebody really likes the subject, they'll highjack it.

5. Don't ever, ever, ever bring up HHO, over-unity, or medical questions. There are better fora for those topics.

6. Tell us about yourself (no personal identifiers, please).

My guidelines are: ask for help when I need it, or give it as I've got to give.

Otherwise; Progress through fun!

Welcome.

If you haven't already:

CR4 FAQ will give you a solid start.

Remember, becoming a Guru is nothing special and requires not a drop of intelligence, just perseverance.

But, you may become addicted to this site and one day realize that you have launched 3,000 posts and need a haircut.

Cheers.
