need to install a CNC plasma cutting machine

What do you need?

Size, location, hook up and calibration problems, I take it this is a used machine. There can be a number of issues, as an example;

Since your working with a compressed gas, you may have problems with freezing up your torch head.

thanks for the reply sir. the size of the cnc table is 1.5mx3m. currently iam using hypertherm make powermax45 cnc compatable machine. right now iam using it manually.

I work with and on plasma cutters fairly often and have experiance with CNC systems as well. What do you need to know?

thanks for the reply sir. i currently work with plasma manually. iam in need of cnc cutting. currently i do my job by outsourcing in cnc laser cutting. i need to install a machine for myself. laser cutting is quite costly and iam not affordable to invest such huge amount. also i maynot require such micron accuracy and minimum cutting clearance as of laser. i can allow cutting clearence upto 2mm and accuracy level ±0.5 to 1mm.any other issues i need to compromise with cnc plasma.

Can you send pictures of it and the facility into which it will be installed?

Does the seller offer installation help?

Why don't you invite the seller and his mates over for a BBQ and let them give you some tips. If not the seller, then some other guys who know how to deal with it. Just over email will never be good enough considering the amount of information you are supplying.

Is this is old equipment then

1. Check the condition before commiting to purchase

2. Look the installation and talk to supervisor or Engineer whatg is needed for installation and facilities to run the equipment

3. Make this as part of purchase that they will help in installation and start up.

As a bottom line paying few rupees extra for this help is always pays big in return by

1. Redoing

2. Correcting the installation and facility issues

3. Training of empolyee to run the equipment
