An open letter to zacky

07/09/2010 11:51 PM

Hello Zacky, I don't know who you are, but I am receiving private messages from you that have absolutely nothing to do with this forum. There are plenty of sites for you to spread your word. I reported you tonight, not because I am offended, but because I am annoyed. You will be booted off of here if you continue, so why not do it voluntarily?

Maybe he's spamming? I too got such a message. One of the key reason I am not a religious believer is this kind of underhanded behavior. A form of false witnessing, so to speak.

My copy read like this:

"To:

Tornado

Hello

Please watch right now the program "Exposing atheism" at: www.abnsat.com"

Abnsat.com appears to be a Website specializing in promoting Christianity to a Muslim audience.

We shall soon see whether zacky furnishes a suitable apology.

You can consider it as a friendly invitation that u can accept or reject. It is not a compulsory issue. Have you for once told him not to send such invitations and he insist sending them? Try that out.

Dickson.

Dickson,

Who put you in charge of the forum?

I don't consider it friendly in any way. I am offended by the implication of Whacky zacky that I am an atheist.

Who the H*ll are either one of you to suggest that I need religious training?

Seems both arrogant and condescending at the same time. Keep your religious cr*p to yourself!

I've received 2 of these in a week, and others have received them also. This is definitely spamming, by a CR4 member, no less. I don't have to tell him anything, this is not a religious forum, period. Personally, I hope he gets excommunicated from this site forever, pun intended.

I've reported zacky. I urge everyone who has received this nonesense to also report him/her. This deserves a lifetime ban. Spamming is not OK on any forum I've ever seen, and I've seen dozens.

I'm in total agreement. If zacky is allowed to continue this behavior, there is nothing to stop people from from sending out friendly invitations to try out penis enlargement pills, get rich quick ideas, etc. etc. etc. I would like to think that there is a certain unwritten code of honor here, and zacky, in my opinion has crossed way over the line! Unlike our personal email, we can't block people from sending us personal messages here, which makes this an even more egregious act.

As an observer on the sidelines, I'd like to take the time to write a good response to all of this, but I've got about six jehovah witnesses waiting on the doorstep ringing my doorbell and wanting to sell me some comic books or something.

I didn't intend for this post to morph into religion bashing, either, to each his own. zacky has been exposed, mission accomplished.

Here's one way to handle "doorbell missionaries":

Simply say, "Well, my religion is nudism. Come on in and practice that for a while, and then I'll listen to your story."

Hi Tornado

I go to the religious section of my library and pick the Srimad Bagavatam (not sure about the spelling, its been a long time). I invite them to stay but they just turn their backs and try their dirty deeds elsewhere.

This is upsetting me no end and my tolerance is stretched to braking point. Extremely unintelligent to ring the CR4 doorbell. But will his dysfunctional brains even take note?

OK, I'm over it, Ky.

It sounds to me as if the Guest who is coming to zacky's defense may be zacky hiding behind a false facade. This is another reason why ANY poster should have to register!

According to our site policies, neither religion nor spam (solicitation) are allowed on CR4. Spamming is a violation of the rules as is starting a topic solely about religion.

If you go to www.abnsat.com, you have to scroll clear to page 5 to find the "Atheism Exposed" video.

Along the way, you can see "Muhammad in the Old Testament" and "Muhammad in the New Testament." Since Muhammad wasn't around until about year 600, it's clear that these dorks don't know what they are talking about.

Re: An open letter to zacky

07/10/2010 6:26 PM

Now that I see he is doing it not only to me I am more than upset. I replied and gave him my opinion on the matter and again after that. Such tactics are very intrusive and have no space here in CR4, at all.

I thought he was just reacting to something I had put up in some thread and now this. What a ruthless, useless, "unchristian" behavior.

To the devil in disguise:

Shame on you Zacky!! If that is the way you want to spread the word you should not be surprised when you are shot down. What a disgrace.

If you ever contact me again I will not only report you but will contact the people you are working for. As I have stated in my PM I have the means and will not hesitate one bit to go all the way and shut you and your blasphemous ways down.

It is just disgusting and I am disappointed to have replied to your PM at all. I can't believe the way you are treating us. Go and think what damage you have done!! Not to me but to your brothers and sisters around this planet, they deserve better than being pimped by such a ruthless technique of indoctrination and pretentious attempts to spread the word.

This is very upsetting and has strained my respect for religious people in a way that will not be repairable in a long time or ever. Not that I had much to start with but even that has disappeared. You know my thoughts on this and your reaction shows complete disregard for the truly enlightened people wondering the face of the earth.

Shame, shame, shame. Get out and stay out. You are a wolf in a sheep's skin and will be punished and you know by who. Gosh I am upset to have fallen for such trickery, you have no idea.

In complete disrespect, I am disgusted, rot in hell if he takes you at all, Ky.

Hey guys, Just got back into town, Glad to see all of the responses. I sure hope the people in power at CR4 shut this jerk down. Thanks for the support on this issue. By the way I don't know if you need to post your negative remarks about zacky as off topic, seems to me like they are right in line with my OP. Goodbye zacky, I suspect we won't be hearing much more from you, or your ilk. You can play your little games with our comments, but it is probably an exercise in futility.

Apparently "zacky" has recruited two equally dopey friends collectively to vote several germane posts with three OTs. I have rebuked him harshly via PM and might relish a more permanent Celestial Supreme Court ruling. These guys never learn.... All the better if this would happen in real time and in open view, but I'm not holding my breath.

Tornado

Dear Mr Walker

Yep, those tactics have been deployed since centuries now. First try and recruit and if the peasants don't behave, obey by their rules, they are punished into submission. I can't believe it's still going on and that admin is tolerating this.

I think I'll withdraw my proposal to getting in touch with their boss. He knows best and will sort it out in his own good time. I would not like to be in their shoes though, he is a hard judge and has never shown mercy to the slaves of Satan.

May the Lord have mercy on their souls and give them a chance to repent. They should just read the script and all the others, just like I have and shut up and stop this blasphemous act. "They no not know what they are doing" comes to mind. And it just keeps coming. It's a disgrace to all who want to live a peaceful life and spread the word of compassion with out relying on the help of the largest organized crime syndicate ever to exist on the face of this earth.

I'll leave it at that and will not publish what I have been preparing, so to put them on the right track. It would be Perls for the swines and teeth could be broken not to mention the eyes, one by one.

Bottom line: Very sad state of affairs, Ky.

Rather than have "the administration" whack this guy and his companions, I would prefer to do it myself. "The administration" only edits and deletes stuff, removing all trace of how scurrilous it is was. Generally, I think it is much better to leave the garbage alive, all the better to attack it. I hate censorship. Better that nonsense be exposed and countered, rather than hidden.

It may be seen that "zacky" has not responded to any of this, except maybe in the guise of "guest" and some friendly "guests." No one is fooled by this, except other fools.

OT's are going ballistic I see. I wondered the other day if one could delete ones own GA's or have them deleted. You know, they can become a target and give saboteurs satisfaction of some perverted kind. Or are they set in stone now? I might find out soon, no skin off me.

An interesting idea. We could ask the ads to set up a "no holds barred" sub-forum where they could move stuff like Zacky's link and we could all go at it. I'd like that.

Thanks ALL!

Though I am a bit overwhelmed with "work" - boo hiss - this is the best "lurking" laugh I've had in a week.

Given we know full well that Admin can read PM's - what are they thinking except the members can dish better than a 'delete' - All good fun.

So thanks Admin for letting it stand.

And thanks Zacky - you're up there with 'over unity' hobbits.

But what you have again demonstrated/proved is; the GA system is as corruptible as anyone's silly agendas.

To All:

A couple of days ago, zacky was banned. A lot of people reported his messages. He will probably not be responding to any of this, except as guest perhaps.

As for the crazy off-topicing of the whole thread. One of the few users off-topicing I suspect is an alternate profile of zacky. This profile will probably be banned shortly. The other user I cannot be so sure of. I will monitor this other profile and see if this is just a one-time thing or a pestering habit.

In the future, if there are messages of this nature, please report it.

Re: An open letter to zacky

Thanks Jaxy, I had no idea this was going to set off such a fire storm, reporting someone goes completely against my nature, and I wouldn't have done it if he was doing his posting out in the open forum. Regardless of the content of zacky's messages, the only reason I reported him, was because, just like some of the earlier posts say, what I was seeing amounted to spamming, from within CR4, by a person that I had never had contact with, and it looked like it was starting to escalate. I would have felt no differently if a CR4 member was using the private message system to try to sell a product to people, it's just not right. In hindsight, I wonder if I should have let it go, because it certainly is looking like zacky and his friends are going to continue to try to wreak havoc by signing in as guests, and fiddling around with the ratings, probably reporting people for no reason, etc.

Even if you had just 'let it go,' there were plenty of other reportings of his behavior. They can't fiddle around with the ratings if they are banned (guests cannot vote). I also don't think that guests can report other users.

You are right. Regardless of the content, zacky was spamming different users. It is different when you know the person/people and think they may be interested in a link. It is another entirely to spam like zacky was.

I too received zacky's email and reported it. Too late apparently as he has already been banned. From this thread though it looks like he really touched a nerve. Anything I could add has already been covered here, probably better that I would have said. Any thing else I "would" have said would probably violate the rules of engagement, I mean terms of use on this site.

Zacky, your right to sling garbage on the internet ends where my hard drive begins.

I would like to reiterate to any of zacky's friends on here that are legitimate CR4 users, that my OP had little to do the contents of his message, that is irrelevant, it was the method of delivery that I had a problem with, which, I think has been established, would be considered spam. I hope you can recognize this and not spend any more time trying to mark all of my comments as off topic on other threads, reporting me, etc., or to anyone else that posted to this thread. That is just nonsense.

Makes you feel any better - I've just given your thread 5 stars, and each of your posts a GA .

Keep smiling.

RBT it is for me.

Nothing wrong with keeping extremists on the strait and narrow and stopping spam. It's just a shame that one could be called "not spiritual" for not belonging to an organization. Although I have a pragmatic mind, the miracle of waking in the morning and becoming a witness to the glory of life every time I do so, is something I would not like to miss.

Governing this, or trying to, is worse than being hand cuffed.

May freedom reign supreme, Ky.

Thanks, but that sure wasn't necessary, I'd like to think that any GA's are earned. I just like it here just the way it is, GA's or not, and would hate to see it get messed up by the tactics that led me to start this thread. I have a feeling, that if it became a full time job for the moderators to look for this type of thing and have to be on constant patrol, they would probably just shut it down, and that would truly be a shame. This is a great site! So many people from all over the world that are eager to help out complete strangers and expecting nothing in return. Not something you see very often. Thanks again.

Mostly I was just cancelling out some of the OTs that 'someone' had given you, rather than actually cranking up your GAs.

I appreciate it! I'm sure I'm not the only "target". Hopefully admin will be able to weed these people out and get rid of them.

I think the highest OT score was over a thousand I whacked one in back then, just for good measure. Can't remember who it was but it was really funny. Any one remember who it was? Even he got a good laugh out of it I think.

OT's must be running on automatic. Just a minute later and already 5. Wow, there's dedication for you.

If you mark yourself as OT when posting, it automatically clocks up 5. Also, if you reply to an OT post, it will check the OT box (marking your post OT with 5) unless you specifically un-check the box.

Thanks.

OT's and Ga's never bothered me much. Now I know how it works. Might as well scrap both really.

Thanks John

Just another GA, what else. Ken must have had some very good reasons to leave us. What a shame. He put me on the straight and narrow years back and I can't thank him enough. Well spoken teachers, advisers are hard to come by and he is definitely one of them. Hope he is doing well and that he will come back one day, Ky.
