I don't know about you, but I read the Wiki piece about Aleksei Antonov and found absolutely nothing in the entire piece that praised the USSR. Nor the Russian Army.

It talked about a bright, successful individual with, apparently a good military mind who was promoted throughout his career.

Could have been named Eisenhower or Washington.

The point is, it was about a man, not an ideology.

Actually my handle is an old college nickname that has a very long convoluted reason for it. My name is not Fred. I do have some red in my hair. While my great grandfather was possibly a Wobblie, I have no communist ties or allegiances.
