Pipe Threading

I need to know what size bare pipe or tube I need to start with to thread 1/8" NPT both O.D. anf I.D.

1/8" NPT to compression fittings are widely available in stainless steel and in brass to suit a number of pipe sizes. So why thread the pipe?

How about 1/8 inch pipe? Don't know what schedule size to tell you as you did not inform us of the pressure.

1/8" pipe is 0.405" o.d. The i.d. varies according to pipe schedule, but a suitable size could be drilled for internal threading for 1/16" pipe size. (If that's what the OP means.)
