"the machine" tells us NOTHING. Is this going to devolve into 20 questions?

Look on the nameplate or check the manual or call the manufacturer.

Or, hook a flow meter in the line and measure it.

Compare with "The Seven Dreams of Gordon Jenkins".

Geeez, it's so easy.

Just get a microscope capable of seeing individual molecules. Count the number of air molecules going into the machine. Then count the number of air molecules leaving the machine. Subtract the 2nd number from the 1st number. The difference will give you the number of air molecules consumed in the machine. Keep in mind that there are two oxygen atoms per oxygen molecule (O2), and two nitrogen atoms per nitrogen molecule (N2). Air is roughly 21% oxygen and 78% nitrogen.

PWSlack, I tried your link but it goes nowhere...

Almost like it wants or needs more information.

10-4 and roger that.

Please forgive me... I had entered my comment in 'M$ Sarcastic Font', but I see that CR4 cleanup editor has changed it. Please consider my previous comment as sarcasm.

Thanks for catching it, though.

And who gave lynlynch a 'GA' for that?

If the machine you are asking about is an air compressor, vacuum cleaner, fan, or similar; I'd have to say - ALL OF THE AIR IS CONSUMED!

oh yeah - are black holes concidered a "machine"?
