How to Insert i-Photos in CR4 Discussions

11/29/2010 8:29 PM

I want to transfer some i-photos into CR4 discussions. I think I have Firefox downloaded. What next? Say, I have clicked on the picture in i-mac and want to put the picture into a CR4 comment; I see from the instructions that you sent me that I am suppose to see an"Add/Edit Image" prompt, and click on the "Browse" ...button. Where is the "Add/Edit Image", where is the "Browse..." button?

Hi Heidi

There is a green camera on the task bar of the editor (on the left of the bullets) Click om it .

If you know the file and path name you can type it in

or choose browse and find it.

Finally click Submit

The green camera icon is circled above. It should appear on a toolbar above the text box where you type your message. That's the one you need to click in order to see the browse button. From there you can select the image you want to post on CR4.

If you don't see the green camera icon, you aren't using a web browser that supports inserting images. The ones we know that work are Internet Explorer and Firefox.

What about having a "practice" page on CR4; that is free for newer participants and 'Guests', to experiment, with informational, as well as interaction-al page (as in Powererpoint as an example), where potential replies from those wishing to comment upon, or add content to a discussion, can get a proper and comfortable 'feeling for' what's entailed in a posting, reply, or blog entry?

This may help people from entering onto an embarrassing, non-sensical or incompleted intentional entry from well meaning participants.

Also to assign an arbitrary, temporary, numerically assigned 'Guest' number within the discussion at hand being viewed by the rest of us; that is "Guest1" , "Guest2" , etc... in order to tell one 'Guest' from another.

How are you? Your name is very irritating as you are of male gender and my wife's name is Heidi. I think I know what your problem is as it is not the first time that you are asking for assistance in this matter. I was in your position when I started and I found out how to do it. Here is a suggestion from me, again:

If you have some one put a hand on your shoulder and he/ she tells you "let me do it for you" just refuse the offer. Nobody will do it for you, not now and not in the many other threads you are seeking answers.

The good thing is that you can't break a computer while trying. Just keep at it, trial and error. I'm still picking up how to do things on a daily basis and if you think it stops somewhere think again because that will just not happen, ever.

Looking forward to the sand castles push rod. I have the solution here, ready to give to you. Now its up to you Mate. You can do it!!

Greetings, Ky.

Hi there, I had the same problem and just discovered that the tools you mention do not appear when browsing Google Chrome A time ago I also noticed that many websites do not work propperly under Chrome as well, in particular when completing forms or writing a comment in the window embeded in the site.
