CR4 Admin locks the topic, believing it to be a homework question, perhaps?

Not enough information for a reply.

How is the sunlight divided?

What path, or paths, does the 'divided' sunlight take?

How is the divided sunlight directed into the prism?

What is the geometry of the prism?

What are its optical properties?

It's dark here now, so there's no sunlight to shine.

I'll get back to you tomorrow, after sunrise.
