Interlock Signal

Is it necessary to show the connection of interlock signal from level transmitter mounted on a fuel storage tank to inlet and outlet flow control (motor operated valves) in PID?

It's only necessary if it required by the Client's PID Standard symbology.

Otherwise it's good practice, and may be useful.

Agreed. One way to show this is to use a dotted line to distinguish electrical connections from piping runs.

Is the signal device represented in the logic and if so isn't it already in the I/O map?
