Universal Drilling Machine

I had experience to maintain the machine shop for some years.I was new to the field.During the workshop experience i had face the following problem:

Name of the M/c # Universal drilling Machine.

Duty# heavey duty drill between 6 mm to 52mm

manufature # Batliboi

Nature of problem # Horizontal movement hold mechanisum is vibrating during drilling.

What could be the reason.

It's too many years ago; I don't remember.

Loose parts.
Unsymmetrically sharpened drill bit.
Nonuniform hardness of parts being drilled.
Spindle bearings worn.
Etc.

Batliboi & Co. Ltd is one of the oldest machine mfr and supplier. I suggest that you should approach their service dept. in their Chennai office they will help you in solving your problem.
