02/24/2011 2:47 AM

Hi

I am getting confused in the concept of the load angle under full load conditions,so please I need help and my question is

What is the load angle under full load conditions? is it true to consider it 90 degree as the generator is working with max. power.

Thanks.

The "load angel" is a fictitious spiritual "concept" with no known basis in reality.

Hi Tornado,

I hope you haven't shattered his belief in "Guardian Angles"

What's a "guardian angle"? 5, 10, 15, 20°, or further on up? (I suppose I would vote for 180°.)

'Guardian angle' is the angle at which the guardian can be most conveniently read on a tube train without incomodiating one's fellow passengers old chap.

Maybe 90º is the "Right Angel? (I think we had better "call it a day" on this one before it gets very silly)

Load angle cant assume such high values. More so because if it goes beyond 90 degrees, we will not be able to find a stable point on the load angle curve which can satisfy the Equal area Criterion. So it is kept low so that even if there is a considerable amount of disturbance in the system, the system still remains stable (the angle oscillates between two points until the disturbances are damped off.)

The work load determines the angle.Angels are not real because they cheat. More the excitation in DG angle tends to reach 90 degree.
