Wacky Science - an open invitation

04/10/2007 7:19 PM

This is an open invitation to all: post your weird and most bizarre link of magical or unexplained science or phenomenon, preferably in video, which you may occasionally encounter on the web, and let's all discuss it here:

- Is it for real or is it a hoax?

- If it's real, how is it made, what's the phenomenon or effect?

- If it's a hoax, how was it made?

Dear Admins, please consider: Should this be a blog?

"A Select Committee" By H. Stacey Marks,

I have always wondered what the topic of conversation was. Thanks AstroNut.

Now I know

I have wondered about a few postings on cr4

Search on octopus was disappointing - If they had human mobility we'd have to be seriously worried.

The bird off the open lock and cage - real,

The octopus through the tubes - real.

No problems whatsoever.

Even your humble servant had a deaf white cat, which jumped-open doors, as if nothing to it. Died of pneumonia in 2003.

Brilliant ! I loved Yuval's Houdini , and now the omni-bird . ROFL . These things are dangerous - can't be contained , talk all languages . Reeeeespect.

I have to nip somewhere else in this thread , for a reply I'm late in posting. No junk mail in the house of cr4 - it makes the mornings so much fun.

Top of the Morning to you Kris, A "gets up reet urley" Guru.....Cool.

CR4 is a Class act and NO MISTAKE. Handy that a Fraser was also Chairman of Rolls Royce....You never know Kris....we just might be able to get Lady Honor Fraser to twist an arm or two, when she receives the "first" storey board sketch from the proposed Billion Dollar James Bond Movie. I think even her dear Brother in the City, might just lend a hand????

When Rolls Royce collapsed in the 1970's ....ahem somebody bought a whole heap of the worthless shares .....and refused to part with them Well that somebody figured if they are worth less than wallpaper.....and cost less than wallpaper, might as well use them someday as "wallpaper"....Tee Hee! Say no more. "Nod's as good as a wink to a blind donkey."

I'd had that reflection at the back of my mind (it looks like the way Sirk pastes the paper up ). Now I shall ponder more . I try to limit the things I follow but just can't help myself on cr4 . Now here's another one ! Dohh ! as Homer Simpson would say.

WHAT THE CRAP ??????

AAAAAGH.................

There I was merrily typing , then my house felt like it was being beamed up by aliens. A reported 5.4 , epicentre a couple of clicks away! Wow that's juicy for UK - I've just seen maps of quake progress across Europe - this is weird . You said SMERSH might get me Alastair , but I didn't know the tentacles were that long. I even had to check Dungeness nuclear hadn't gone up . Definitely shaken and stirred.

I was about to decamp to my nuclear bunker . Fear not ,Kris and sirk survive , though the jumble might have created the new persona Risk . Normal service will resume as soon as.

Thank everybody , we are refreshed. Bright eyed and bushy tailed . Ready for another wonderful day.

I am quickly scanning new comments at present.

I once read , Alastair , that is was very hard to simply 'give' HM Government money without a mountain of paperwork . A suggestion to The Times was to buy and burn some form of Government issue , but I cannot remember which . Maybe it was premium bonds or something like that . Perhaps you know , I am no financial whizz. I love the idea of being able to tell Mr Taxman that the Government has received it's money and he is invited to see you flame your ownership of it. Ernie (Electronic Random Number Indicator Equipment . He picks premium bond numbers Yuval ,and is loved by tycoon Alan Sugar who says he is the best way to invest savings(presumably he's reached his quota of houses)) . If it is his bonds to use , he would have to re-calculate the odds (or would he) and all sorts of chaos would ensue.

Alfred B. Ford, would probably? or certainly commend your suggestion. Make paying Tax fun.......What could be simpler. This is the Wacky Science Forum. Science requires going through a process. That makes plenty of work for academics. It starts with a hypothesis, an experiment is devised to 'test' the hypothesis, then modified to maximise any 'gain' or 'advantage' impartially observed. A Theory of how to maximise the benefit/advantage is formulated and tested and so on and so forth, eventually we arrive at a Principle or even a Law of Taxation. such as,:-

"Tax returns are proportional to the Tax-Payers interest in paying the Tax"

Yuval & Kris, Have a great day, and the rest of CR4. I need to stock up on Cobalt Blue for Yuval's Prize. The 48" x 60" Canvasses are awaiting the brush. and the huge box is blocking my doorway, six canvasses in all. At J Walter Thomson (Advertising Gurus) they say you only get one chance to make a good first impression. Big & Bold is good, especially in Theatre-Land. It's a long process, 99% of the work is preparation. The final canvas can be whipped off in a day or two.

They made war here, profitable for the average Jo. See? What a slick way to hijack something from the lexicon! Blood money here is no longer a negative connotation. With war bonds, cashed some ten or twenty years later with about double the (normal interest) return.

Bonds. The shortest route to heaven.

Wanna make some good money? Invest in Israeli wars.

Kris, Oh great guru, now I know how to do it properly, I am unworthy to receive the dust from your lotus feet upon my head. I get this email from Admin, Kris responds to Kris......Not only does Kris respond to Kris, but also does so correctly, and in true gentlemanly manner, actually addresses his doppleganger as "Dear Kris"....Vunderbar! Formidable!

I also received an email from another forum, They have picked up on our scientific discussions. Charles Ford is probably quite interested. Fords as we know Kris, were called "Daggenham Dustbins" largely due to the enlightened policy of Henry Ford contracting to empty the neighbourhoods dustbins at discount. All he needed was an electromagnet. and a lot of that rubbish was combustible....cool. Above is a piece of Iron Oxide, from Govardhana Hill. in India, currently under excavation to recover iron ore. In ancient times, It was Govardhana mountain. made Everest look puny, but with such rich deposits of Iron ore, and multiple space exploration projects underway, it's only a little hill now. Hindus pile loads of sweets up on it. if you are poor and starving in India, as long as you can walk to Govardhana Hill, you will never go hungry again.

We need "Alchemical Gold" It has to be purified by fire, numerous times, first in the fire of "envy" then in the fire of "Lust", but you can never get enough of it, so the fire of "greed" must follow. Then there are many purificatory fires to go, before eventually it becomes gold leaf, used to cover sweet-meets and prashaadam or food of the gods. If placed upon Govardhana Hill, the Officially Designated Centre of the entire Material and Spiritual Cosmos....Fact. The Supreme Personality Declared and demonstrated it. As a child, he just lifted the whole hill, to protect his friends from the wrath of the authorities. Little Krishna had told his cowherd friends to offer their "Tribute" to the Hill and not the Local Temple.....Tut Tut..... that caused trouble... Try that stunt with the Tax-man, and see how far you get. "sorry Tax-man, I have paid it, but not to you, I left it in a bunny rabbit hole in a hill, which is after all 'The State'. you don't have to pay tax twice, and everyone here in Pendle is just going to ignore your requests, from now on our Tax will be paid direct to THE ACTUAL STATE, you are just the middle-man.....so piss off".....I think their might be consequences. The bailiffs will arrive. forcefully.

"He who overcomes others has force; he who overcomes himself is strong." -- Lao-tzu, Chinese philosopher

Message from Mr. Charles Ford's Spokesperson to this CR4 Thread:-

Shaily just posted this on Krishna Community:
Title of post: His Divine Grace teaches us
Body of post: "We should be careful not to make the mistake of thinking that everyone is Krsna; rather, we should see Krsna in everyone. Krsna is all-pervading. Why is He to be seen only in human beings? As stated in Brahma-samhita, He is also present within the atom: andantara-stha- paramanu- cayantara- stham. [Bs. 5.35] The word paramanu means "atom," and we should understand that Krsna is present within every atom. "A true yogi observes Me in all beings and also sees every being in Me." How does the yogi see every being "in Me"? This is possible because the true yogi knows that everything that we see is Krsna. We are sitting on this floor or on this carpet, but in actuality we are sitting on Krsna. We should know this to be a fact. How is this carpet Krsna? It is Krsna because it is made of Krsna's energy. The Supreme Lord has various energies, of which there are three primary divisions -- material energy, spiritual energy, and marginal energy. Parasya saktir vividhaiva sruyate [Cc. Madhya 13.65, purport]. We living entities are marginal energy, the material world is material energy, and the spiritual world is spiritual energy. We are marginal energy in the sense that we can be either spiritually or materially situated. There is no third alternative; either we become materialistic or spiritualistic."

Change of "Watch" alarm off at 01:00 Greenwich, Meantime here is the Cairo Weather Forecast. Today will be sunny. as it is Sunday.

Here is the News at 01:08. The Department of Antiquities have assured the World Press, that this years scheduled opening of the secret chamber in the great pyramid, will be conducted over live broadcast. There will not be a repeat of the King Tut Ankh Amoon fiasco......The Chamber will be examined by remote camera, attached to the umbilical probe. A spokesperson from the University said there may be yet another Door beyond the First copper door so far now penetrated. This could cause further delay, as a thorough examination of the new possible anti-chamber will need to be conducted....blah

Cool link Kris, Good to see these enterprising MIT graduates received their first contract from the Army....Cool. Read Arthur C Clarke's "Fountains of Paradise"

http://www.sfsite.com/01a/fp95.htm Quote from review:-

"....The book tells of Vannevar Morgan, the greatest civil engineer of his time, which is the mid-22nd century. Having built a bridge across the Straits of Gibraltar, he dreams of an even greater accomplishment: sort of a bridge to space: a "skyhook," or "space elevator." This will be a cable stretching from the Earth's equator to an anchoring satellite at geosynchronous orbit......blah"

Let's fast forward, 22nd century???.... Has Arthur never heard of the "Great Genie of the Tin" ? who has already begun construction of the motorway bridge over the Atlantic ocean. and we are only seven years into the 21st century. Mr. Clarke need to catch up a bit with his back issues of scientific journals. There is absolutely no need to go as far as geo-synchronous orbit. Active mass, allows for a hoop rung ladder. Now must dash, my Chinese friend Alibaba (Plug) has an urgent email to attend to. (preparations 4 th Olympics, we need pure stretch silk, and overlock sewing machines capable of joining the pieces of children's gloves)

Thanks Kris, link saved to "Family Stuff" file.(16th entry). Looks like a place to take a Bride on Honeymoon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flunky_(computer_game)

Noted, Thanks. Their guest book may have some interesting entries. We shall have to visit someday. Rev. Rosemary Priestley Saint Martins in The Field and Rev. Jean Mayhew will be notified. Hatching Matching & Dispatching is the Job Description. No harm leaving a few 'Brochures' laying about when the two sweethearts come to ask for the Banns to be read.

http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekid.cgi?id=0001809

"Go and light all the fires" Commands Her Majesty to her Flunky. That's quite a lot of fires to in Buckingham Palace. Rosemary's Dad, The Late Canon John Priestley was our local Vicar, and also a Royal Chaplain. R.I.P.

Now then,....not for the first time...ahem!.... I got into a lot of hot water, for Canon John Priestly appearing on the Front Cover of a Jehovah's Witness Publication. I don't know who.....ahem!....was to blame, but I can hazard a guess.. If Henrietta McFall was ever invited to Buckingham Palace, there might just be an empty space on the wall. She would walk off with a priceless Vermeer, just for the fun of it. Then, believe me, butter would not melt in her mouth, as she denied it absolutely. Several months later, the picture would be returned casually, as if permission had been granted all the time..... The Clerk of the Closet would likely be in on it, or bamboozled into co-operation... who knows? CAVEAT!

Dear Alastair, (Thanks for the tip Kris)

Your suspicions are quite unfounded, Henny McFall is a very good girl, and an excellent mother, She may have been coached in Street Theatre by Impresario Michael White and Mrs. White (Nee Miss Louise Moores) but I submit that has no bearing on the matter. OK the first Edition went into a 5,000,000 print run, and Canon John's Stroke was more to do with Kosovo, than any embarrassment caused...blah.

Note to Billion Dollar James Bond Script Writers...... There is a wealth of material available.....What do you think Royal Military Police Officers are there for, other than to keep control of Posh Totty Dolly Birds escaped from their cages? and tearing the place apart, just for fun. Those Jail Birds can also "BREAK IN" as well, make themselves at home...blah....then greet the astonished owners on their return from holiday/vacation as if everything is perfectly normal

"I've Made some lunch, do come in we were expecting you" ...(my lips are sealed.) James Bond has his work cut out, that's for sure. but that $1000,000,000 needs to be spent wisely.

You and Yuval are doing an excellent job of confusing me ! I'm sure it will come to me in time - persistence I do well , though it is often termed obsessive/dogged/stubborn blah blah blah. The back burner always has room - war bonds here, Daniel there.

Before I scurry along updating myself , Seils endearing features are the bridge name , pub name , honesty shop , and fame as home to world skimming championships. People were not amused when I led them the wrong way up a precipice above the equally deep slate quarry . Ha ! If you are near Oban and have young family with you ,the Oban Rare Breads Park is an absolute must for the kids (of all ages)

http://www.makezine.com/blog/archive/2007/04/how_to_make_towel_folding.html

hey , wrong link ! Try this - http://www.obanrarebreeds.com/

thats better , the first was worth leaving in , just to monkey about.

Great day out . Snookie RIP is no longer there , but there are always new arrivals (watch those Lamas though - and give the black alpaca some munchies for me) .I took my family there the day my dad died and found real peace of mind in the surroundings.

Wow, If my Granny choo choo, was alive and she heard about those rare breeds, she would be ecstatic. I read in New Scientist recently that Germany has an effective Holstein Frisian Herd Population of only 57. Probably a result of closing the borders for fear of mad cow, coupled to factory farming methods. Farmers who paid good money for their cows to be inseminated with a gigantic bull, discover the calf is a Pygmy. Dwarfism has set in. This thread should be allowed to blow the whistle on pseudo-science as well as nutters harmless perpetual motion clockwork/magnetic contraptions. It's ART for goodness sake

My Granny Bubbles, who was observant of human proclivities, commented that the constant drive to improve something, a milking cow for instance, reaches a point, when all one is doing is in her words "Gilding the Lilly" Runglee Rungliot was another expression of hers. "Thus far and no further" Francis was chairman of the Tea Planters Association. Runglee Rungliot is the finest Darjeeling Tea. Our neighbour in Kenya bred Cowfallos... cattle with buffalo.... Mr. Parfitt was the bubble-gum magnate. A new breed in the making. good for him. Another door to knock on looking for my $500,000,000. the 50% share in the movie. Mel Brooks hilarious film "The Producers" has worked a spell on me. Grab a copy and watch it. I loved your "Rope-Climbing Gadget" "Q" will definitely explain and demonstrate it to 007. The whole point of 007 is to bring new technology to market. Capturing the imagination is more than half the battle won.

Granny choo choo would have been much pleased , I think , by numerous low profile folk aroud the country who have a passion for ensuring the survival of wild breeds. They always catch my eye in the press , because I hugely admire the activity as a raison-d'etre. Pigs , apple trees the list goes on . It must have a forum somewhere. I remember being much impressed by the wild white cattle of , I think , Chilingham in Northumbria. Hang on ; http://www.chillingham-wildcattle.org.uk/

Fantastic things , and left to there own devices. I haven't read the link yet to see how they faired with BSE. I'm going to have to check the results of insemination programs now . Thats cool though.

Bubbles sounds like she was quite wise too - I was always hopeless at art , because I could never see when to stop. The only thing I recall is being told 'If you can't hide something , make a feature of it'. Oh dear - you reap as you sew !

Talking of features , Mel is one of those people whose humour I could never fully gel with . Dud and Pete likewise . I shall have to think on this because , as you mention earlier , humour is dead serious. It evokes our deepest emotions

Forgive me for going off tack , but I just remembered some very funny memories. Trudy got a Yorkie pup a few years back. Being a Yorkie it had the usual (inbreeding) problem of hip dysplasia. At about 1 year it spent a while with a back leg immobilized after corrective surgery. He (Tom) learnt to balance on front paws while having a pee . Amazing. To top that he also figured how to walk down a flight of steps on his 2 front legs. I wish I had all that on cam - it caused us endless laughs. People passing would stop open mouthed looking for the strings . Tom thrives and has converted a disliker of small yapping dogs (ie me) . **** off lassy , the one with the ewok face is a natural born turn.

Kris, how common are hedge hogs in England? Are they all about or are they endangered? I always thought that they would make a really neat pet. You can purchase African hedge hogs, but I've heard that they stink and need frequent bathing if you're going to keep them as pets. Is this the same with English ones?

Kris, thanks for the URL. I'm assuming that they're talking about English hedgehogs and not African?

Gents of the Wacky Thread -

I dropped out for a week to write a quick-turn proposal on a tight deadline. (Spook stuff. I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.)

Anyway, here I am back again, and I find OVER 100 NEW POSTS!! And not a junk mail among 'em! How am I to explain all this to the boss, when he catches me spending hours on CR4??

Maybe it's time to buy a home computer, after all. But then, unlike Alastair, I do need to sleep sometimes.

I could only look at the Dawkins links just now , so the others will have to wait (probably me tinkering with settings on my computer earlier today).Dawkins chat reminded me of 2 men arguing over what to call a toupee (if you'll excuse the adapted phrase ) . Who cares , just wear it and be content. I did notice his early years , which rang an interesting bell . I will consider the implication of this slowly.

As to the perceived Kris vs Admin vs kids triangle implosion threat - this is the really interesting part. The one vs the many , eh ? The solution to this potential truel is quite clear from the shooting power on each side. The inevitable final conflict (Admins vs kids) would be like carrying water in a sieve , which is difficult if you only have a sieve to carry the water. Eventually , the water is going to empty and evaporate. If you want to plug me , you best be confident the action is worthwhile . Fueling a dictatorship may backfire , and the bloodiest battles are fought between brothers. Shutting portholes on the titanic is not much use . Neither is saying it can't and won't sink. Chucking Steerage overboard to enlarge 1st Class ? Makes no difference to the iceberg . The flotsam might have been of use.

The penny will drop sooner or later.... Kris....Believe me.....The penny will drop.

Dear Professor Richard Dawkins is either (A) Too busy to answer his email In-Tray. (very probable) or (B) Not inclined to enter into debate with a "Theist" or unlikely (C)Too scared to examine evidence that would undermine his postulates.

We have quite a team up at Oxford, Richard won't escape, and he knows it. The Public Understanding of Science, is of paramount importance. Decisions made today, will affect the entire future of Humanity. If those decisions are based on faulty science, we could all plunge ourselves into a new and terrible dark age. Robert Strange McNamara, who I admire with the deepest of respect, fears that this issue may not be addressed, and as a consequence, These are truly the Last Days for Life on Planet Earth......It's back to the "Drawing Board".......Start again from scratch, with a new primordial soup of mono-cellular organisms. This may indeed the the best option. Rear Admiral David White RN OBE, is one of those people who will implement the Decision that Science Arrives at. Rear Admiral David Bawtree's solution had been it seems rejected....So Be It!

I have lost count of the number of times we have faced "Extinction" I will post up a few examples. Pure Cobalt Shielding for a NUKE is CURTAINS for life on earth.

We are "ON THE BEACH NOW"

Hi Kris, Work over for the day.....Phew!.......(With luck)

"Wacky Science" is the Theme of this thread. Let's stay on course. Many moons ago, I was destined for the Diplomatic Service.....blah....I was going up to Dulwich College, Motto, "Manners Maketh Man"....blah, Then after the Cuba Crisis.....Wellington College was chosen instead....These things are arranged for you. "Volunteers needed, you you & you!".....The good old days.

Upon arrival at Wellington College, I discovered that "Manners" were a luxury the College could not afford to instill into their pupils. "Pigs feeding at a trough" was the best description of the Dining Hall. This was the contingent that was going to go out and exterminate anybody who got in the way.......Another time to relate that tale. we came so close.....phew! indeed.

Arriving in my partition "Tish" Well Coll speak for Billet. I was greeted by my Fag Tutor, who doubtless will be reading this page someday. There was a local sewage outflow that disgorged a brown soup into an open cess pit. I was given my "Baptism"

Total immersion...say no more....The new College Doctor, brought in the next term, forbade the practice, otherwise I would have had to Baptise A Royal Prince who had been granted a Harem at the tender age of 14.....What a lovely Birthday Present!

Readers to this thread have no idea how "Pure" that relationship is. These are chaste Girls......and very skilled in cooking and dancing etc. Not what the Crude Pig's nose in a trough" western idea might be....blah blah. College was aware of my Boxing aptitude, I was appointed his Fag Tutor. Bless You Mustapha!

Micheal's Fag Tutoring to me was exemplary. I was given the Rule of Thumb Soaked Cane for not remembering the Fire Regulations "Verbatim" ..."Blucher 688" did your Fag Tutor not instruct you to LEARN THE FIRE REGULATIONS VERBATIM OR NOT?" ...."Yes sir"........"Do you know what the Latin word "Verbatim" means?"......."yes sir"....."Well What does it mean then"......"It means Word for word sir"......"So why the F?ck have you recited back to me the general gist of the regulations?"........."Because I did not pay proper attention to my Fag Tutor sir"........."You have just saved him from the caning he would have received as well as you, if you had given any other answer Blucher 688!"......."FAAAAAAAAAAAG!" ...... (The call for Fags or Fatigues)......" You three were last, each get your mattress, tonight you will sleep on a wet one and take them down to the Changing room baths.last one fetch salt for the wounds!"......(Caning was taken at full sprint. and the mattresses were to cushion the wall next to the bath filled with cold water........ A second baptism.......The water was red......Chief Foreign Correspondent for The Financial Times Quentin Peel, can confirm this Testimony. he was also a Prefect in the Blucher at the time. WACKY-Science indeed!... The British Military know how to inflict it!

********************************************

(MichEAl's) Step Father Mac Reynolds, held positions on the board of just about every major Civil Engineering Firm on the Stock Exchange......And at the end of my gruelling first term at Wellington College, then under the Head Mastership of Mr. Stainsforth. I enquired of my Fag Tutor, where he lived. "Field Green House in Hawkhurst Kent".....But Michael... I also live in Hawkhurst Kent, what a co-incidence.....blah

The most efficient means to deliver oil in a pipe, is to evacuate the pipe Alastair. I presume you are intelligent enough to fill in the details for yourself. (Mag Lev) was our first after dinner conversation at Field Green House. I admired what I thought was a Canaletto on the Dining Room Wall. I was wrong. if was by a Protegee...blah.

"So Art interests you then Alastair?" asked Mac rhetorically...."Yes sir, very much indeed"

Kris -

Thanks for pointing me to that thread about the dippy drinking birds! The video clips really fired my retro-rockets... Haven't seen one of those birds in ages. My dad (a physics teacher) always had a little flock of them in his lab. Hard to keep them going for any length of time, though.

You're welcome . I liked svengali's link to the rotating wheel . I shall go back for seconds at some point. A giant bird in the garden appeals to my sence of humour. The principle could be re-dressed in lot's of useful ways I think. 'Free' useable energy is not the suns only use.

Somehow Kris, that link did not work for me, but I certainly remember opening my Christmas Present under the Tree. A Glass Dippy Bird. Sadly the entire contents of my house were stolen, as soon as I had delivered them to Lucinda Wallop's Basement Flat in Onslow Square Gardens. (Lucida I have mentioned before Co-Produced "Armageddon" and is The Rt.Hon Earl of Portsmouth's Sister) in 1974.

The decision was made then that Humanity had overstayed the welcome that Planet Earth had extended.

TIME IS UP FOLKS......"GOOD BYE"......SAFE JOURNEY. (MAKE PREPARATIONS TO LEAVE OR WE SELF DESTRUCT!)

Hi Kris, That was rather "rude" of me, but so was General Curtis LeMay. His Instructions will be carried out to the letter. President Kennedy tried in vain to alter those instructions, and so did his son. They were Executed!

Humanity Has a choice, prepare for execution, or prepare to leave. Naturally Science will determine how long that takes.......Discuss!

The Gentleman From the Land of Borat is not a comedian. He was in charge of Appropriate in the old Soviet System.....Clever Bloke, with "Wacky Science" he managed to use his God given Talents to Weaponize and Cross-Mutate just about every nasty Pathogen on the Planet. Common-Ebola-Cold/Influenza/Smallpox you name it......20,000+ Wacky Scientists under his command.

Or we could just allow All life on earth to go back to the drawing board. Don't fret folks, Planet Earth has booted you out many times before, Celibate Priests always manage to miss the last boat out. No objections to that.

while telling the world, all about the soviet bio-warfare potential.

This is about hell incarnate.

Kris, Death is No Rapture, When you are faced with the naked truth, and you stand before your Creator, What Religion do you profess at that moment?

Here is Lord Krishna, lifting Govardhana Hill, so as to protect the Inhabitants of Vrindavana from the wrath of Indra. Krishna had told the inhabitants to pay tribute to Govardhana and not Indra's Temple Priests. King Indra called for Back-Up from Brahma-Loka, and Lord Brahma appeared in person. (Brahma created this insignificant puny little cosmos) Lord Brahma needed to interrogate the "culprits" (He beamed them up Scotty a la Startreck) but had to wait a full solar year to beam them back again. Long distance teleportation is tricky, for health and safety, the planet had to be back in the same position. He was unable to teleport either Krishna or Rama, and figured they were interlopers from a neighbouring cosmos. Gate-Crashers having a bit of fun.

When he returned the inhabitants, Lord Brahma went to apologise to the relatives for teleporting their kith & Kin......"No said the relatives, nobody has gone, our friends and relatives have been here all along"

Then Lord Brahma awoke from his Illusion, and Lord Krishna revealed himself as all the relatives that replaced the teleported ones. Even Jesus, or Lord Rama, was a little confused at first, until he figured out that these replacement relatives were just too nice to be any other than the Supreme Personality of Godhead in multiple Disguise.

Lord Brahma wept floods of tears, he had not seen his Lord for ages. "That's OK, said Krishna, it's about time you paid me a visit, pop in sometime"

Lord Brahma was delighted at the Invitation, and arrived at the Gates of Vaikunthaloka, where his Lord resided. "Please tell Christa that I have arrived" (In Western India, as far as Alexander the Great penetrated, "Krishna", is pronounced "Christa" or "Crista" to this day.).... The Gatekeeper returned, "Krishna wants to know which Lord Brahma is calling?" ...."The Lord Brahma that tried to teleport Krishna"....Gatekeeper "OK come in Krishna/Crista is expecting you"

"Krishna, why did the Gatekeeper enquire 'which Brahma?' I was, how many others are there/"

"Quite a few, I shall summon a few for you."

In walked a Lord Brahma from a non-sequential Time universe with Five Heads/Faces, instead of Lord Brahma's four heads of space and sequential time.

Then a Six Headed Brahma,

Then a Ten Headed Brahma

Then a Hundred and a Thousand Headed Lord Brahma.

Lord Brahma fainted when the Million Headed Brahmas started to arrive.

"Enough Enough, please my Lord, this is far too much for me to comprehend"

Krishna Dismissed all the multi-headed Lord Brahmas, saying "I just summoned you to remind you all my instruction NEVER FEAR THE DEMONIAC!. I am sorry you have to put up with them, but Demons will be Demons" (Extemporised)

Tenth Canto of Srimad Bhagavatam has all the details Kris, but it is a condenced version. The Vedas are Vast, it would take thousands of lifetimes just to read a minute fraction of them.

No Yuval . Certain Fundamentalist Christians belief that the final battle between good and evil is going to happen sometime. Around this time they will experience the rapture . The 2 events are linked. The logic goes that they can get to the promised land quicker if they light the touch-paper themselves. This would not matter if they were the lunatic fringe , but many of them are in a position to start playing with matches near the touch paper. The hoped for place may not be called paradise by them , but they want to get there real quick and take the family with them.

Top of the Dawn to you Kris,

Lovely turn of phrase, "Light the blue touch-paper" These are a box of Chinese Fireworks, and most of them can't read Chinese. Allow me to translate the instructions on the big rocket......"Five Finger Dragon Rocket, Assemble Kite in accompanying box, marked No2. (oops! there is no second box)...place rocket stick in Kite Bamboo Main tube, attach Kite Line, found in large Box (3) (oops no box (3) either)......Fly Kite to 40,000 feet, See Wind-Speed Table for selection of correct fuse length IMPORTANT CONSULT WITH LOCAL WEATHER BUREAU.......Light fuse and Fly kite. IMPORTANT ....ONLY QUALIFID KITE FLYER PERMITTED TO FLY KITE. HOPE CUSTOMER ENJOY NUCLEAR CHRYZANTHEMUM DISPLAY.

Kris, There is a Firm of Solicitors in St.Ives, and a rather perplexed Tate Gallery Director who have received instructions well over five years ago. The local council Health and Safety should have had time to deliberate by now. Let's ask them. I promised them a good show.....They probably thought I was joking......think again, I am not.......mind you we won't be suggesting such crude methods as lighting touch-papers!

Wow!

This is not unlike the Muslim fanatics, who rush to their

imaginary heaven (77 virgins?) A.S.A.P, preferably taking some

infidels with them, on the way.

Totally ignoring God's gift and challenge, having this life to live

and carrying His grace forward, to other living creatures.

Are we all gone mad listening to this evil mind in our head?

Look and see where the world, this divine creation gone to,

by listening to those crazy voices of doom, blabbering

in our heads, pretending to be the creator?

Do we really need it any further?

Are we not near enough to immanent doom, just by following it?

I despise the zealots of either and any faction . My point was that some groups want global Armageddon in order to reach their vision of a promised land. Car bombs and strategic nuclear strikes are bad enough , but elimination of all human-kind is what some want . I can hardly dismiss your understandable concern for regional conflict , but the strings are being pulled by other supposedly friendly hands that seek a much bigger catastrophe. They do not have any care for regional politics. Total annihilation of ALL is the goal and nothing less. They would happily toast ma , pa , and the cat too.

Here is a universally applicable quote that can be used whatever mood you are in Yuval : " This feeling will not last " . It puts all emotions down the drain fairly well.

Re: Wacky Science - an open invitation

05/04/2007 6:17 AM

Just to be honest here, I'm not in despair or real gloom,

not to the extent I express here, to project my concern

which is real.

In short, I'm concerned, because I care, emotionally,

about life, about the living.

I personally, had a beautiful life, no less, and for this,

I'll always be grateful, even if my life ends today or tomorrow.

But this is besides the point. For me, life itself, is a miracle,

even if so considered statistically, according to the

"big numbers law".

Even if you're to say, there's plenty of it out there

in the universe, I'm not relaxed about it, concerning

the madness introduced to nature on earth,

by man in general, and modern man in particular.

For me, life is not just "my life" as such. it is the living.

it is about the living. If we ever cared about someone or

something in this world, we cannot dismiss this as trivial.

This is grace incarnate, divinity incarnate in our, real, practical,

daily life.

Of course, we can be obtuse, and as a matter of fact our

collective mad human culture, encourages us to be obtuse.

So we slowly become non-caring obtuse zombies, wandering

aimlessly (in that particular sense) looking for something to

destroy, as if we contributed something, anything,

to it's creation.

For me, this is insanity, not the inability to read people's

intention, or having a delusional imagination.

Something is very, very sick in the human mind, if it encourage

us, not to care about life and the living.

Gloom is just a word. what I feel is more like sad. really.

Weddings are more fun than Funerals, Harrogate Registry Office May 10th 2006. 14:30 Hours GMT.

Hi Yuval,

You may know more about him than me, I have not had an oportunity to meet with him. I never form an opinion about anybody from second hand reports. I shall ask for First Secretary at the Kazakhstan Embassy here to notify me if he visits Great Britain at any time. Then perhaps we could meet? I am sure he is a very interesting person.

Just now I am quite excited about this:-

Pyramid's Secret Doors to Be Opened

Rossella Lorenzi, Discovery News type size: [A] [A] [A]

March 20, 2007 — Doors will soon open to reveal one of the mysteries of the Great Pyramid in Giza, Dr. Zahi Hawass, chief of Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities, told Discovery News in an exclusive interview. Hawass, one of the world's leading Egyptologists, said he will show what lies behind secret doors inside the 4,500-year-old pharaonic mausoleum by the end of this year.
"Finally, people all over the world will know what is behind the second door in the southern shaft and the third door in the northern shaft," Hawass said.
Built in 2550 B.C. for the pharaoh Cheops, also known as Khufu, the Great Pyramid is the largest of a family of three pyramids on the Giza plateau, on the outskirts of Cairo.
The last remaining wonder of the ancient world has lost little of its original height of 481 feet, and contains 3.4 million cubic yards of material. Its base covers an area of 13.1 acres, which could accommodate the cathedrals of Florence, Milan, London's St. Paul's and Rome's St. Peter's and still have plenty of space.
The monument has long been rumored to have hidden passageways leading to secret chambers, and archaeologists have puzzled over the meaning of four narrow shafts deep inside the pyramid since they were first discovered in 1872.
Two shafts, extend from the upper, or "Kings Chamber" exit into open air. But the lower two, one on the south side and one on the north side in the so-called "Queen's Chamber" disappear within, deepening the pyramid mystery.
Widely believed to be ritual passageways for the dead pharaoh's soul to reach the afterlife, these 8-inch square shafts remained unexplored until 1993, when German engineer Rudolf Gantenbrink sent a robot through the southern shaft.
After a steady climb of 213 feet from the heart of the pyramid, the robot had to stop in front of a mysterious limestone slab adorned with two copper handles.
Nine years later, Hawass performed an investigation of the southern shaft on live television. As the world held its breath, a tomb-raiding robot pushed a camera through a hole drilled in the copper handled door — only to reveal another door.
The following day, Hawass sent the robot through the northern shaft. After crawling for 213 feet and several sharp bends, the robot came to an abrupt halt in front of another limestone slab.

As with the Gantenbrink door, the stone was adorned with two copper handles. "I dedicated my whole life to study the secrets of the Great Pyramid and I must say that these doors create many exciting questions. It is intriguing that the door in the northern shaft and the first door in the southern shaft are equidistant from the queen's chamber.
"Moreover, they are very similar, as they both feature the same copper handles," Hawass said.
Speculation abounds that the shafts might lead to a secret chamber which might contain everything: a cache of papyri, a statue of Pharaoh Khufu, or even his real tomb.
"This month I am going to choose the team that is going to work with me on this project. It will be either from Singapore or Hong Kong," Hawass said.
Hawass did not specify whether inspections into the shafts have already been carried or whether further robotic investigations are necessary.
"I can only say that this year I will reveal the secrets of the Great Pyramid doors," Hawass told Discovery News.
Good news for Historians, Perhaps there is one Library left, that the F?ckwits have not managed to destroy! They always want to suppress the truth. and not for unselfish motives, simply because their narrow-minded prejudice can't believe we can reach for the stars.

Dear Yuval, I read the Wikipedia link you provided, I note that no mention of the Biopreparat Defector Circa 1989 was mentioned. Dr. David Kelly, who I spoke to several times at Porton Down, would have plenty of information on this issue. I very much doubt that Dr. David Kelly is actually dead. Crematoriums do a busy trade, Down the hatch, and you get a box of ash.

Get real!....... Dr. David Kelly's Dear Lady Wife, does not seem in the least concerned. The Inquest was an utter farce, with Police Officers giving fabricated testimony left right and centre. I am not in that loop, but I sure know who is!

In 1990 SCINF (Soviet Information Services Saint Petersburg twinned with Manchester) sent a Film Crew over here to cover the Glastonbury Arts Festival. I was roped in to do "Stars on Sunday" broadcast live from the Festival.....blah.....Fedco Vitaly was the Director and Anchor Man. He introduced me to XYZ?......We agreed that it would be wise to construct a Bio-Secure Shelter.....blah.....Sir Nicholas Grimshaw oversaw it's construction.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicholas_Grimshaw

Quote:-

He was educated at Wellington College. From 1959 to 1962, he studied at the Edinburgh College of Art before winning a scholarship to attend the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, where he won further scholarships to travel to Sweden in 1963 and the United States in 1964. He graduated from the AA in 1965 with an honours degree, and having entered into a partnership with Terry Farrell, he joined the Royal Institute of British Architects two years later in 1967.

In 1993 Professor Sand Helsell invited me to Open the Degree Show of the Architectural Association School of Architecture. The Graduates had been assigned the task of Post Nuclear Habitation/Drongo Land. Rolls Royce were I understand Sponsors, and the Down and Outs in Kiev have benefited from, and much improved the feed-back.

The more I think about it, The more appealing Read Admiral David Bawtree's solution becomes.

BUT WHAT DO I KNOW? .......CARE TO EXPERIENCE A "RAPTURE" FOLKS? YOU ALL MUST BE VERY CONFIDENT THAT YOU ARE WITHOUT SIN AND READY TO FACE YOUR CREATOR!

Which link? The one in #521 ? The one in #523 ?

Anyway, as your post replies to my #525, I can say that in: "...The man is confined to the U.S, and under immense guard...", I referred to Kenneth Alibek, not to David Kelly.

Dear Yuval,

#521 was the link, sorry for not being clear. My reference to Dr. Kelly, was just an informed speculation. (Joined the "Spooks" Club)

The name of the "Defector" from 1989 has not entered the Public Domain, to my knowledge.

"Houdini" the Blue Ringed Octopus, has I believe sired tens of thousands of Progeny at London Zoo. He is the smallest aquatic octopussy (007) in the Pacific, Surfers in Australia very occasionally get bitten. There is no detectable sign of the bite.

The venom is a saliva I believe. take care with hand-shakes from folk you don't know!. This little critter was brought back to London, a Century or so ago. High Powered jobs are littered with heart failure......Mmmm enough said. The demoniac always use cowardly methods of disposing of people surplus to requirements.

I have not had time yet to read #523 ...It's all far too familiar and very depressing.

Sorry about the "Extra-Wide" posts, it's intended for "Artistic Effect" with my Windows "Paint" banners. Scroll to view! Black-On-Black, (I would print much darker)

A Homage to an Artist I much admire. You have to sit in front of his canvases for ten minutes, before the tilted square appears......An allegory on Time & Patience. Malevich was a master. I have been working on a developing series. I was not kidding when I said I loved Windows paint.

By the way, I saw Dr. Judith Bronsky's nephew Yan, yesterday and he sends his love, if you ever see her in Haifa.

Kind Regards Alastair.

Alastair,

...Sorry about the "Extra-Wide" posts, it's intended for "Artistic Effect"...

You may like to read threads, scrolling sideways back and forth

each line, but for me, this is not only annoying, but also

irritating, and I get dizzy doing this reading just one post, not to

mention a whole thread. This is why my post looks like that,

(Double-spaced) in attempt to render them readable in one go.

This can easily be avoided, by pasting pictures one above the

other, not sideways, and by posting virtual links, with the aid of

the icon in the CR4 text editor, instead of pasting a mile-long

explicit URLs. You just select a keyword in your intended text,

press , and place your neat, concise, link.

I usually refrain from threads I cannot read, just like I'll never go

see a movie in a theatre which screen is out-of-focus, no-matter

how good the movie is.

This is directed to anyone reading, not personally to you Alastair.

It's a technicality, please take it this way, nothing else intended here.

Vaishnava On his way,

108 Dandavat Parikrama to obtain a Pet Rock, from Girirag Govardhana Hill.

Note the "pet rock" to left, I think. 512 feet progress per day. 121,440 feet to get all the way round. 33 weeks should do it. I think they call it HolyDays.

In the Tate Gallery, Yuval,

As and when I have a retrospective, Visitors will be strapped into an "Electric Chair"

and students from the Royal Accademy School, will run past holding my pictures.

This is how the Summer Exhibition Paintings are selected, and its rather fun.

You will just have to get used to my Arty-Farty ways.

Folk get spoon-fed these days. everything on a plate, the good stuff can be hidden

from view, then the folk that skipped on, come back, if the desire to. CR4 is not a

Fatigue, it's not compulsory.

But I have figured out a way. Senior Colour Sergeant Norry Hughs, Scotts Fusileer

Guards Regiment now in Kiev, can advise. Do the thing properly or not at all.

Dear Yuval,

You have every reason to be fearful. And your concern does you great credit.

We, the combined family of humanity, must as always seek a middle path, the extreme is invariably great Theatre, but thespians are thespians, They entertain. inspire and console. Reality mandates we assess our situation, enlightened with fact not fictions.

Hi AstroNut ,

Slight Hic-Up there. AOL had to close down and Reboot, for a new Security Update from McAfee.....Just as I was downloading a live photograph of my HP notebook with your post on the screen. Picture snapped at 15.57 GMT.

Note my plastic Jesus & Mary & Joseph with Baby Jesus & Saint Martin De Porres, the African Saint Francis.......And Rear Admiral David Bawtree BSc(Eng) CEng FIEE, FIMechE and CB DL.'sFuture Ship Project for the 21st century brochure.

Also note the Paper-Back Book "Journey To The Moon" Plato & Dore Library of Congress Card No:74-9757 ISBN 0-912310-73-1 Copyright 1974 by Celestial Arts.

The Frontispiece reads:-

The key is touched by many hands, as the universe rolls out a starry carpet. The lock on the door at the end is a riddle: "What is it that is always, and has no becoming; and what is always becoming, and never is?"

The lock can never be forced open. To look beyond, one must possess a key, ...then he will gaze upon the light of the moon, the stars, and shining heaven. "The key is a symbol, an archetype or a fixed ideal which we share as common ground.

As Jung correctly proposed, "The symbol is the middle way, upon which the opposites unite towards a new movement, a Watercourse that pours forth fertility after long drought. "The creative spirit in conjunction with the laws of chance reveals the key in many forms, of which this work is one.

The engravings from Dore and the quotations from Plato form a synchronous event when combined. The selection of the engravings and the quotations were independent events from individual spirits. The combination of the two formed a third which we call this work, Journey to the Moon.

(I)......then he will gaze upon the light of the moon, the stars, and shining heaven.

(II) Out of disorder He created order!

(III) .....and He made the Universe a circle moving in a circle able to communicate with itself and needing nothing beyond.

(IV) He resolved to have a moving image of eternity, and He made this image revolve according to number, and He let this image be called time

(V) The earth was created a living creature endowed with a soul, and intelligence by the providence of God

(XLI) What is it that is always, and has no becoming; and what is always becoming, and never is? (PLATO)

Let's get our Oil from "A" to "B" in the MOST EFFICIENT WAY FOLKS.....Tough luck that it will open the door to the Universe and Infinity beyond.

Hi Kris,

Better book your Table, A dinner in a Restaurant about 300 miles up on the Ring Orbital Space Station, will probably cost about a $1000 a head. But I would be very happy to invite you. We expect about 1,000,000,000, customers per year. Money will be worth slightly less, and incomes will be higher. On average every person on earth will dine at least once, and probably twice a decade.

Gross income is estimated to be about $1000,000,000,000 per annum.

We have the start up capital. All thats left now is to build it.

I can't see the problem. Thanks Mac Reynolds of Field Green House Hawkhurst Kent.

and Neelia, that was a lovely meal.

cheers.

Get Happy! The Military will be involved, Civy Street if they behave and don't bicker and argue.

Sir Nicholas Grimshaw.....The list is endless)

First things first, Sea Trials for dear David Bawtree The Rear Admiral's Future Ship Project..... This beauty is going to swallow a good hundred million squid and a bit. He knows what he is doing.

It is pretty. I'll take the time to look for a visual link for the wall-

at very low temperature, and possibly full of vapor.

Here is something to start with. - Just for the taste of it.

Hi Kris,

Zero Point Energy, Please somebody explain how Liquid Helium at only a millionth of a

degree above absolute, has sufficient energy to remain LIQUID & CLIMB WALLS.

Then please ponder the link above, Humanity was created in just two generations.

I wonder if the Zero Point energy had anything to do with it? a speculation I know.

The Top/Bottom Symetry does not work, Side by side does.

Our Bodies are side-by-side symetric, clearly for very practical reasons, but there

may be a deeper cause?...... "Wacky Science" ventures past the "Looking Glass"

and into an Alice in Wonderland World. Lewis Carroll was a Professor of Mathematics.

When I was eleven, I had a wacky and wonderful young math teacher who introduced us to Venn diagrams, set theory, alternate base systems, and all kinds of mind-stretching stuff. I can honestly say that I learned more of value in that class than in university-level calculus! (Thank you Mr. Dehlin, wherever you are.)

Somewhere along the way, he told us in all seriousness that good math teachers always go mad.

I wonder if Rolf knows his stylaphones were secretly being horded. On an incongruous note , did I mention a day in Oban , when I heard the strains of the pipes. After a second of pain , I realized the man was doing Elvis - thankfully I have forgotten the tunes.Very cool link. Somewhere I think there is a site that does the opposite - mime that tune and it names it. Another alarming memory is a kazoo band doing Whole lotta love.Still it's a very cool link , even if I did get Dancing Queen for starters.

Hi Kris,

Looking for a serious laugh?

Try "Smart Pigs"

http://www.gregpalast.com/british-petroleums-smart-pig

Over forty years ago Mac Reynolds, as I have mentioned before, and will doubtless mention again, "Smart Pigs, in Evacuated Space" hold out a lot of Promise, especially if they are smart enough to "Levitate" Down the tube! (Two Pipelines required!)

Step aside (OK roll over) Roald Dhal and Heath Robinson , I present the cloud powered reversing/ irrigating lift tower. This is just a concept drawing , pending my release . Drawing with a pen in my mouth is difficult , especially since my foot is usually there.

Smart Pigs, in the sky tree-house

Note the cunning reverse use of annulus and central platform.

Me insane ? I hope so.

The idea is my gift to humankind (so long as it is called the 'Kristal Tower' )

Mega-Hydraulic Ram, by the looks of it Kris. I think a Kristal Palace, should rise up and down. We will have to get Sir Nicholas Grimshaw onto the case. In the event of a 9/11 style attack, the Kristal Palace simply lowers out of the way....Mmmmm?

The Kristal Tower in reverse mode ;

There will be many towers linking the 'city in the sky' to the Earth (yet to be sketched) rendering destruction of one meaningless. Suggestions to eliminate the tower walls are welcome (vortex etc etc ).

A suggestion elsewhere was made about my mental stability , so a rapid reaction was required.

One of my "Mentors" The Noble Earl and Son of Bertrand Russell, John Conrad Russell, told me "It goes with the territory old boy"

Art and Creativity, is "Licenced" unofficially by the "ARTIST" recognising that he will of necessity have to endure "AD HOMINYM" insults from those who have no rational argument to oppose the proposals forwarded by the artist.

The procedure is perfectly straightforward, an "Artistic Director" is appointed to oversee the "Artistic Project". This person is fully qualified to implement the details.

The "Artistic Producer" Co-ordinates the Finance and other details. Watch a DVD and look at the END CREDITS........ There is always a "Best Boy"

I volunteer!....If you will have me..... but the job should go to a youngster, let's wait and see who turns up, Then I can stand down.

Care to "Eves-Drop" the other Thread I am on. Ten Thousand Highly Qualified Personel, are waiting to Implement Directives. With plenty more in reserve, if needs be. all of them "Get Up Reet Urly" types. The PLAY BEGINS WITH MINOR PRODUCTIONS

Quote:-

This Play was as good as any the Gread Bard, could have produced,

Let's .....E--X--P--A--N--D.... it.

The Play need one more Scene, Where the Genie is set a really Impossible task (More on that later,) And the Genie asks for a simpler task, as the one requested will take many years.

He is asked to go out and make everone chant Hari Krishna instead,

Returning absolutely exhausted, from what he thinks is a simple task, he asks how many "Windows" are required in the Gigantic Pallace/ Temple/RESTAURANT-HOTEL-TULASI GREENHOUSE, in GEO-STATIONARY ORBIT ENCIRCLING THE ENTIRE PLANET.......EASY TASK FOR KRISHNA'S DEVOTEES. in fact "A Piece of cake!"

"HONORIFICABILITUDINITATIBUS" William Shakespear. Love's Labours Lost.

"CONCATINATABILATUDINATATIBUS"

"GAURANGATABABLE-ALTITUDINATIBAAAHARIBOL"

The Magic words are coming thick and fast.....

HI LUDI ORBI TUITI F BACONIS NATI

HI--These; LUDI--Plays; ORBI--The world(Globe Theatre);
TUITI---Entrusted to; F--Francis; BACONIS--BACON(son of Queen Elizabeth I); NATI--Gave birth to.(Nativity Plays)

HONORIFI------CABIL----ITUDINITATIBUS

CABILISE:- A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, D = 4, E = 5, F = 6, G = 7, H = 8,

Both I & J = 9 (In Shakespears time Jesus was printed as IESUS, there were 25 letters in the alphabet, Transpose these letters to the "Magic Square of AREZ or Mars, a 5 x 5 square where every column and line add to 65 as well as the two diagonals. also the symbol for Mars "A circle and upward diagonally pointing arrow" is revealed in the construction of the "Alphabetical" version of the Magic Square....The letters "A", "R", "E.. & "Z", form the Arrow head, and The letters "E", "N", "V", "I", "E". form the shaft of the arrow.

Blah.....K = 10, L = 11, M =12, N = 13,........ X =23, Y = 24, Z = 25.

T......................UIT............................I
F....................BACONI.......................S (S =18 = 2 x 9)
N.......................AT............................I

Sum the Left Column, the middle and the right Column,

And look to the first published edition of the Play "Loves Labours Lost", and you will come to the Page Number, the Line Number, The Word Number....and much more besides. Francis Bacon was Tutored by Queen Elizabeths own Tutor at Oxford. John Dee, who published his Principia Mathematica, with net's of Platonic Solids etc. as Pop-Ups. Ten Thousand Highly Qualified Personel, are waiting to Implement Directives

This is the only post I have read so far , but let me share a wacky vision ;

The triplets go to clean out the web filled shed. It is full of 'tool' boxes.Proceeding box-wise , they open the first box. Hm , some sharp tools and some dull on first inspection. The sharp tools are reserved for a Chess game with Sirk. To sort the blunt 'tools' , each is told what it's favourite candy is. Those who find to their puzzlement that Risk was correct are fed further iterations of this game until separation ratio of blunt tools is good. Kris now has raw material -sharp (who can be played off against each other) , believers (who listen avidly for next prediction) and fodder (who are the majority and must be controlled ). The sharp ones who can be controlled , will direct the devoted few with clever instructions to be applied to the dull mass. Cue manic laughter from Kris and siblings. Oh no which of the trio has figure out a truel.

Of course , the megalomaniac scenario is borrowed from various places and cobbled together for my amusement . Holes like a sieve. The game was inspired by my brother while we were playing 'what would you do if you won the lottery' - his wackiest comment was "I'd retire to an underground lair on a volcanic island , and buy a white cat"

o oh....Theme tune to Jaws . Aaagggghhh

Good morning cr4.

Oops , I really should look at all updates before posting. At least I now feel my instinct about Thermodynamics has some justification. Some day I will take that bull by its horns. A minor matter compared to the posts I've just read. I will not cloud this one with my infantile humour and bad analogies. If I remember the words correctly (Yuval) this thread is not 'dried up and dead' - in cyberspace comments are immortal. That's not a criticism of anybody , just a comment in general about cr4.

Leave it to the Architects and Structural Engineers. The Cash is AVAILABLE!

Try and Find Professor Sand Helsel (from the AA in London a decade ago)for me Kris. She is the lass to organise it. I think she is in OZ? just now.
