	When the magnetic fields of the Earth reverse as they do periodically and one is currently underway (they don't switch instantaneously) what effect, if any, will it have on our modern day electrical and electronics technology? I can see that perhaps low voltage, battery powered etc electronics technology might not be affected, though producing the low voltage itself might be affected? But what about electrical equipment etc where the Earth itself is 'one pole' and the conductor of the power grid? Would DC motors run backwards? Though most DC power is produced from AC. Would electrical power generation and the grid still work properly? 	Since the "Ring of Fire" has intensified around the Pacific regions in recent years, therefore the change in the earth's magnetic poles can be under way. That's laws of physics rather than a myth and it's fallouts can leave the surface of the planet pretty defenceless and the quantity of solar radiation could dry it up lot more than we have records about it. __________________ Making mistake is part of learning.
