Great video Del. I just love the elegant simplicity of the design. I can see that being the introduction or ending of a great lecture on mathematics and/or sampling theory.

Is there gonna be a quiz on this?

/I was told there wouldn't be any math.

Beautiful video...I want one! It looked as though the pendulum lengths were in geometric rather than arithmetic progression, which makes sense. Great tuning job by the builder, and the double strings would keep a Foucault effect from getting started.

Here is another cute study in phasing.

Re: Great Phasing Video

Thanks for that cute one.

Goosebumps material, even after having seen it a few times in the past. Dedicated to the zone and loving it. After a lot of hard work and dropped balls that is.

The pendulum reminded me of looking down the neck of my guitar before the clip even started. I remember riffs that way. When the optical coordination is in sink with my hearing then all is good and it can lead to others hitching a ride and find that the phases are there for a good reason.

Oder in the house for some logical reason. Starting to count, evaluate this is like a man going bald and counting the hairs on his head to prove it. There is a hint of Bi polar to it, no doubt.

Beauty in full swing and with a basic, logic method behind it.

Nice start to the day, see if I can get it synchronized, Ky.

Nobody seated in the theatre ? Perfect - such pleasures should be enjoyed alone. I bet everyone seeing this is tempted to make one, just for the pure fun of it. Very cool.

It's an almost certain fact that some people will not see this. Usual shipping address please, mate .

Latin: Squircatosbushtailus

Imagine one of those and the pendulum. How about it Del, could you not utube that?

I lack a cat, otherwise I'd give it a go. Any cat would go crazy for it, I can just imagine.

this can be used to keep your 12 kids (or kittens) from fighting with each other...

just duct tape them all into the swingset in the back yard... arranged from biggest to smallest...

oh wait... all the balls in the video were the same mass with different length strings...

Coming to think of it Chris:

If they were balloons filled with helium would they do the same show just standing up?

If I ever tried this at home just shoot me
