Dear Butt

water hammering is caused by small droplets of water formed in steam pipelines. when these droplets hit the pipe at elbows or other bends at high speeds, water hammering occurs. Best way to stop it is removing condensates at various locations on the pipelines and other solution may be to increase the temperature of the steam

Why is water hammer a abstract concept whereas sledge hammer is a concrete noun, although it has nothing to do with sledges?
