Thanks For Your Comforting Words

01/03/2012 4:45 PM

Thanks to everyone here at CR4 that sent condolences to me on the passing-away of my wife. Your comments were overwhelming (in a good way), and gracious, and very comforting.

[For those of you who did not know, the lack of info was my fault. I picked a list of CR4 members from an old private message and realized too late that I had neglected a number of my 'friends' here.]

I've been able to spend the holidays surrounded by family and friends, and am ready to move into the next chapter of my life.

I know that CR4 is not usually used for 'personal' messages like this, so if this use offends anyone I apologize.

Hi Usbport, I hadn't heard about your wife passing and I'm sorry for your loss. At a time like this, it's hard to focus on any one thing and it's understandable that you wouldn't want to share this time on the World Web. It's good to have you back and hoping that you have a better year this coming year. Dan

Welcome back Usbport.

You haven't missed too much, although we've missed you.

I got on this morning thinking that I may have misbehaved on here over the New Year holiday.................fortunately nothing too bad. My powers of self moderation are getting better.

Still can't figure out quite what happened here. Given my state, it's best I missed it.

Good to see you back on!
