700 amps; how could it be anything else?.

How many volts? (Then we can calculate kw.)

Yep. Something over 700 amps will do it.

Power = √3 V I CosØ

= 1.73 x 415 x 700 x 0.8 Assuming voltage 415V

= 427 kW

Depending on the load , like if it is single unit, the staring current will be much more. If it is small loads together, like 100+125+ 75+ 50 + 150+100+200, the staring current can limit by scheduling the starting of machines.

What are the loads of machines ?

This case of welding machines and drilling machines need more attention as it is not a constant load.

If it would have been a normal load 500kVA is Ok. The load is 80% .

But your load is not a normal load.
