This is more suited for an Ig® Noble prize than anything else. On second thought this "research" doesn't even merit this prize. This seems more like the mumblings of a sick but agile mind.

Sorry I have empirical data that contradicts this. In the sheet metal industry we turn a flat piece of sheet metal into around pipe. 3.14 times the diameter you desire results in the correct size pipe.

I took 5x∏(using the calculator symbol ∏) and got 15.70796327. Then I took 5x3.14and got 15.7. Taking 5x3.14159, I got 15.70795. Now I'm confused as to which to use.

You are accustomed to the meaning of precision and tolerances so that you should apply same principles and not be confused. Let say you want to know the circumference for a diameter of 1m with an accuracy of 1 cm then you can start with 3.141 since 1 cm is 1/100 of 1m. But if you want a result within 1 mm (1/1000 m) then you have to use a number of digits after the point high enough so that the modification of the last considered digit will not change the result with more than 1mm. In a calculator "pi" has even in the simplest a huge number of digits after the decimal point.

Use the pi symbol. It's a single keystroke and you can always ignore as many numbers to the right of the decimal point as you wish.

It's amazing what you can prove when you make up your own rules of mathematics. In Mathis' "short version for the extinction of Π", he shows that he sort-of knows what a limit is and thinks you can just pretend it means what you want it to mean. But no, 'taking the limit' of that sum is not going to let you say that the arc AC equals the distance AD + DC.

In a sense, he's just re-discovered Zeno's Paradox in two dimensions. Or to put it another way: a pie is the same size, whether you slice it into 6 pieces or 8 pieces.

You're just doing the Calculus wrong. Mathis also corrected the myriad errors he found throughout all of mathematics; especially Calculus. So once you use his new rules, limits and derivatives work differently than the way you have been accustomed. Taking the limit of a sum, will in fact equal arc AC; but only if you have smoked a minimum of 3.14 to 4 bowls of crack. That's rule number 1!

Not quite...Pi tends to 2 if you iterate sufficient number of times. Try it out .....

If C=2*D,

then the arc in a semi circle=D which has the same starting and end points has the diameter.
