Welcome.

You should have posted this in the

Civil Engineering section.

Watch and learn. We don't do homework here, but you will learn by following the discussions here.

Give the kid a break, will ya lyn? [grumpy old fart]

Welcome Newbie!

For starters, if you want to learn about Civil Engineering, then please visit the American Society of Civil Engineers official website (assuming you're from the USA): www.asce.org

Also, you can visit the nearest college or University that has a Civil Engineering program of study and talk to the Dean of the Civil Engineering program.

Also, look up Civil Engineering at Wikipedia or in an Encyclopedia at the local library or school library. Better yet, talk to your Career Adviser or Guidance Consular in your school

Once you've done that and still have questions, please return here and ask the pertinent and specific questions. I'm sure many here would be willing to help you out.

I assume that you are in high school currently, correct?

I'm pretty sure it was first posted in the General section, and then moved here by Admin.

Not that it matters.
