So it wasn't a shut circuit, rewinding or the diode plates.

• Make sure there is fuel in the tank.
• Change the fuel filter.

1. I guess after the rewinding of the exciter, you would have lost the residual magnetism. Flash the field winding with your starter battery 12VDC for a few seconds, ensure that the positive lead of the battery is flashed to the positive lead of the field winding and the negative lead to the negative of the field. After flashing connect back as usual and try again.

2. If no result from item 1, check the field rotating diodes if there are ok

You have referred "indicating undervoltage on the control board, we later find a shut circuit exitation windings, After rewinding it, fix, it still shows the same problem, we replace the diode plates still the same problem,............."

My view is once the Engine starts, whether it builds up voltage or not, the Engine SHOULD NOT STOP. If the Engine stops means, the Fuel Supply, Combustion related aspect, Choke in Exhaust pipe is possible. Pl. check in these points.

A similar post in CR4 as appeared about 20 days back and a variety of answers came from CR4 MEMBERS.

Pl. check it from that link and once you have identified the problem, pl. post here, what was the problem and how solved.?

Insufficient oil or oil pressure may also cause it to shut down.

1. Does a voltmeter confirm the "undervoltage"?
2. Undervoltage detection can malfunction!
3. Does your engine get to normal governed speed?

Answers to your question.

1. Yes, but not a volt meter per say,,Its the control board. Design deep sea

2. It shows under voltage and the control board printed circuit board or you call it a cluster board

3. No, it does not, it shut down just after it detects no or little voltage I.E. seconds

OK, it could all be due to the control board voltage detection disconnected or faulty.

Get an independent AC voltmeter.

"Flashing" the field has been suggested already - you should do it.

I would investigate the stop solenoid of the engine.

Disconnect the live wire to it, connect it back, through a switch, so that you can isolate the "stop" from the control board.

Be sure you know where the mechanical stop is - there is usually a lever on the fuel pump - and how to operate it (the engine will not start while it is moved into the "stop" position, it is usually spring loaded to "go" position). It is a good idea to have someone else ready to operate this stop at your signal or sign of trouble.

I am assuming the governor is simple mechanical unit in the fuel pump.

If you are happy the engine is OK and safe, then my expectation is that it would reach full speed before any voltage check is made by the control board. However, you say it does not reach a steady (governed) speed.

If you isolate the stop solenoid as suggested, the engine should reach full, steady, speed. You can throw the new switch to ON to stop engine if you are not happy.

At full speed, if you have flashed the field, it should give some AC voltage, say 5% to 10% rated, even with no field current.

If the AC voltage is low, the AVR may be faulty or not getting any voltage to power it.

It is best to have a DC voltmeter measuring field voltage, so you can see if the field is getting any power.

Finally, please think of all measures to ensure you, anyone else or the engine will not be damaged.

The controller (Deep sea) senses input faults and then commands to solenoid valve for trip.You would better check the causes of faults. good luck
