Sure! And then you can see for yourself how it does not function. (The motor probably won't start.)

If you remove the capacitor the machine will never run because due to capacitor only rotating magnetic field created and because of the rotating magnetic field only the machine is running

The point of our silly answers is that we do not know why you wish to remove this capacitor. Do you believe that it failed and you wish to replace it? Do you want to know if your sewing machine will work without this capacitor? It probably will not work correctly but depending on where this capacitor is used you may not notice the difference. Do you wish to understand why this capacitor is used and you thought removing it will help explain this to you? Good idea but without proper instrumentation, a circuit layout and some fundamental circuit theory this will not lead to an understanding of the use of a capacitor in a motor or motor controller.

Yes you can, but you have to replace it!

Does this answer your question?

No , unless you know what you are doing and understand the function of the capacitor.

When equipment is built, every piece of item is there for a reason.some for its looks and others to actually make the equipment work.I don't think the capacitor is there for its looks.

If it does have to come out, make sure it is properly recycled.

My wife has been irritating me with her sewing activities. Now, I know how to stop her.
