DCS Architecture?

What is DCS achitecture and an example of any. And please what difference is there btn a SMART transmitter and a PROFIBUS dp transmitters.

How did you get here?

You could have very, very easily searched (Googled) "DCS Architecture", "smart transmitter", "Profibus", and "dP transmitter".

But that would have taken all the fun you would have gotten out of all of the uninformed (because of your lack of specificity and failure to inform us of what you actually KNOW) answers that will appear in response to your rather poorly thought out query.

Please feel free to access the links I have provided above; review, study, contemplate them as a whole, find the common link in the test question, and maybe - just maybe you'll be able to answer the test question.

If you need to ask you probably don't need to know..but just in case... it's a Distributed Control System, and there many different but similar architectures (ways of having all the pieces play together nicely)
