Read the instructions.

Reverse the hydraulic connections.

Read the instructions.

Take it back and ask for help.

Read the instructions.

With no useful information from you, all I can say is read the instructions.

I shouldn't have to tell you this, but if you can find the manufacturer's web site, you can download the pump manual.

Seriously, do some searching on your own.

So how are you getting it up in the first place if it only goes down?

I am guessing the pump motor runs when it's trying to lift?

Is all of the air bled out of the pressure lines?

is the relief valve working properly or is it stuck?

Is the pump actually pumping fluid or is the pump gearset broke or worn out?

Did you notice that the e-bay link includes contact e-mail address?

Now a hydraulic pump is such a simple machine (Archimedes designed several) that a little simple exploration and analysis of the mechanics should tell you how this pump should work. We cannot do this for you. You may find from your exploration that this double action pump is not what you wanted. What you actually wanted was a reversible pump. Now if you find out that the valves in this pump will allow a reversing liquid flow but only if the motor reverses rotation then a miss wire or bad switch may be your problem.

I get the impression that english is not your primary language?

What we need is the pump brand and model numbers. Everything else is irrelevant.

Do you have fluid in the pump to begin with and will it shoot fluid out of any port when the hoses are disconnected and the motor is ran?

You have a 12 volt lift pump package used to lift a load when running. To lower the load the down button is pressed to allow the hydraulic fluid back into the pump. If it will only pump down the hose is connected to the wrong port on the clyinder. This pump is normally used on single acting clyinders. The UP button runs the pump and the DOWN button releases the load.

Does the pump have a reservoir on it? #1-- If yes, is the volume of the reservoir on the pump almost as large as the volume of the cylinder?

If yes- you have a single action system and the pump only raises the cylinder. The weight of the car is what pushes it back down when you push the down button.

If the answer to #1 is no--you have a double action system where the pump transfers the fluid in both directions and the output of the pump is transferred to the other end of the cylinder. If this is the case, disconnect each hose from the cylinder one at a time, hold a can or absorbent pad under the hose, jog the motor for less than 1 second and see if the fluid is flowing in the correct direction. If they are in correctly the motor may be miswired or the pump broken. Trouble shoot it from that point if necessary.

If you bought it from e-bay, was it used or new? Was it missing any parts? do you trust the guy you bought it from?

Good Luck, Old Salt

as i seen on e bay ,the pump runs with pilot operated solenoid switch the round one (mounted on the motor ) and there are 2 solenoid valves (the black coils ) which seems to be used for direction (A & B ) kindly check the connections of the hand console ,i think the both button,s output is going to same coil.or you can energize the power and exchange the coils .i think it will solve the problem .motor connections shows that its single direction .just the flow is controlled by 2 black coils.

regards
