You don't need to shout and breaking things down into separate coherent sentences would be helpful too.

As far as your problem goes you own a used Cavalier. That sums up everything.

OOPS.

You just screwed the pooch.

It is unwise to cop an attitude when looking for free advice.

Good luck getting help here.

I think he is just crabby being its sinking in that he's an ignorant cheap ass who owns a POS vehicle with what most of us would call a simple electrical problem.

Years ago I had a GF who owned a Cavalier wagon that had the exact same symptoms so I have a very good suspicion as to what needs to be replaced.

Oh well maybe walking to and from work for a while might give him the the time he needs to think about what manors can accomplish for a person!

I have a manor. It's about 49 acres, all told.

Some say I have no manners.

Well, in this case, maybe noone will warn you about posting your email address, and you will get plenty of spam mail. You seem to have a knack for shooting yourself in the foot.

ALL CAPS is supposed to be shouting. You have been screaming against a wall here by saying it is a Cavalier.

Did you consider having an car electrician looking at this? You went through the expenses of getting a new starter so you should have had advice already what the issue could have been. Can you go back there?

  • Towing this thing to the local scrap dealer seems to be the one way to go.
  • Another would be to tow it to the local repairs garage. Make sure that Caps Lock is turned off before attaching the tow rope, though.
  • An alternative would be to offer it on an internet auction site (name withheld) for sale on a spares-or-repair basis.

There are always solutions to this sort of problem.
