Mathmatic Equasion

If X/Y increased 20 %age

and Z/Y increased 80 %age

How can we prove in mathmatical equasion that:

Z/X = 60 %age ??

But I'll help you out. equasion is spelled equation

oh yeah, and its Mathematical and not Mathmatic or mathmatical

They don't.

[Z/Y]/[X/Y]=Z/X→1.8/1.2=1.5→ 50% increase

Oh, the proper spelling is Mathematical equation. English is weird language where the phonetic sound of a constant changes. This is why there are English spelling bee competitions and spell checker programs.

This is a "core curriculum" question combining "new math" with "new English" and getting new (i.e., incorrect) answers in both realms.

Common core is the phrase.

And yes, there can no longer be wrong answers to questions. Imagine how being told that your answer is WRONG would shatter you.

So, now we can take any number of completely half-assed paths to finding an answer that is most nearly correct.

That's how one becomes a Senior Electrical Engineer , Consultant in BFE.
