Here We Go Again

05/17/2014 8:03 PM

Someone is going around - again - marking my posts OT. Whomever you are? I don't care. Truly I don't.

Not one iota.

Why don't I care, might you ask?

Because of people like you whose abuse of CR4's rating system has rendered it meaningless.

And just to prove that don't care, I preemptively OT'd as many of my own GA'd posts as the system would let me.

There are only three left.

Have fun!

I don't recall voting recently on your posts, but I marked this thread with a one-star kiss of death. If you really didn't care about the matter, you wouldn't have started this silly thread in the first place.

Not silly at all, but you're right: I do care, just not in the way you might think.

Now, in some unspecified manner, you claim to care; whereas in the OP you didn't.

Que la donna e mobile.

Who thinks this already beaten-to-death topic is worth five stars?

"Now, in some unspecified manner, you claim to care; whereas in the OP you didn't."

Like I said, not in the way you might think. I'm not going to elborate. Not to you, and for the same reason I wouldn't bother explaining shades of grey to a blind man.

"Who thinks this already beaten-to-death topic is worth five stars?"

Evidently you do think it's worth something; so much so in fact that you've brought along your axe to grind, yes? You have already commented several times now and so this thread must be worth something, if not five stars? If you find this topic so odious, then why are you here at all? Your very presence on this thread is a contradiction.

Keep digging that hole, Tornado. Perhaps you will be so kind at some point as to tell us whether such holes do indeed go to China.

He's trying to get out. It hasn't been much fun in there lately and he's getting tired of the same ol' shit every time he goes in. Mostly dead Cavaliers and mis-sized busbars and growing numbers of tire-slashers because no one's at the wheel, not like before. To his good forturne he has found several other computers of late, new ones and well made, ones that run smoothly, are sensibly moderated with nary a tire-slasher in sight. He thinks its high time for a change, and who can blame him?

I can` resists

Mrs. Richards: When I pay for a room with a view, I expect something more interesting than that.Basil: That is Torquay madam.Mrs. Richards: Well it's not good enough.Basil: Well, may I ask what you expected to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically...?Mrs. Richards: Don't be silly. I expect to be able to see the sea.Basil: You can see the sea. It's over there between the land and the sky.Mrs. Richards: I'd need a telescope to see that.Basil: Well, then, may I suggest you move to a hotel nearer the sea? [mutters] Or preferably in it.Mrs Richards: Now listen to me. I am not satisfied. However, I have decided to stay. But I shall expect a reduction.Basil: Why, because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment?

Oh heavens, is that nearly an echo I hear? Didn't I hear a similar tune a short time ago? Maybe it's that rock n' roll theme "Rate comments with integrity." Seems I heard some Sodium Chloride with Longevity say:

"Why would you want to expose yourself to "bashing" by someone else that is rude, crude, obnoxious, etc. who would make stupid accusations about you simply because they don't like the way you vote or your voting history"?

Welcome to the club! He also said:

Ironically it usually isn't too hard to almost determine who the other is. A few days ago I posted a comment and it had. If I remember correctly, 2 GA votes for it. Within the period of one hour someone had posted a comment opposing my comment, voted an OT for my comment reducing it by one GA, arranged for his comment to get one GA, another contributor gave an OT to him nullifying his one GA vote and anything else possible.

I also think someone feels they may have more knowledge or smarts than someone or everyone else and wants to show it in a bashing manner. What that stupid jerk doesn't realize or want to admit is that his selfish actions detract from the benefits of this forum. When that happens many of us get very urinated off and will exercise a more moderate but just as effective exercise on him. He is truly a gluteus maximus and will get his payback.

Hold on; don't get mad it blurs the vision and thinking. Save your energy like many others do and wait to get even! It will be done by someone who wants this forum to survive.

Good Luck, Old Salt
