Greetings Edgar!

I am also from the Philippines but not an Educator (at least not the way you are). You shouldn't find any problems getting friends here. Welcome to CR4!

Hi Edgar,

I am a former educator from Northern Philippines but now in Micronesia involved with small-scale project consulting. My area is CE.

CR4 is a site where we can share ideas (creative maybe...) and (perhaps) be educated as well. WELCOME!

I am a retired Mechanical Engineer, spent most of my career in manufacturing. Taught in Community College for 6 years. My first wife died several years ago and I remarried to a Philippino woman. I have traveled extensively in the Far East and went to the PHillippines last year with my wife to show me of to the relatives. she lived in Mindano, Ozamiz City.

If you would like write to me at my e-mail that is easier than using CR4 and more direct. www.billstravels07@yahoo.com

Good Morning Edgar: I am a retired but staying active Hybrid engineer/technocrat. That is I have a degree in Electrical Engr and a graduate degee in Engineering Management, and have gleaned most of my background from kind and learned associates willing to share what they have learned.

My field of activity and experience is in the field of vibration testing and machinery analysis and what we call here in the US, PdM for Predictive or Condition Based Maintenance. I have several patents in the field and recently formed a small company to market a rolling element bearing analyzer based on a completely new approach to the problem based on interface surface impact analyis. www.bearinglifeguard.com So I'm still having fun. I have had a surprising number of inquiries from the Phillipines indicating that there is a high level of interest there in this field. If I can be of any assistance to you please let me know. My e-mail is on the site. John

I'm not an educator nor to I have a degree( Unless you count the School Of Hard Knocks), however I have been working in the manufacturing industry for 25 years as a maintenance technician and manager.

I have built a number of machines and attachments for printing equipment that are still in use today. The guys on here have really given a lot of information that is useful to a great many including myself on this site.

So welcom aboard an Happy Learning, and teaching if that happens to be the case.

Mogadang Hapan Po, Mr Aquino.

In addition to being frequent contributor (in english only, sorry) to CR4, I also provide education to folks in manufacturing in areas of metallurgy, statistical quality control, machining, management, and general tedchnology and other technical areas. Thats my day job. I'm with a US trade association.

A big howdy from Texas, Aquino! I am a high school physics teacher working towards an advanced degree so that I might teach at the college level. I have found CR4 to be an invaluable resource for classroom and personal use.

Goodmorning,

I teach microelectronics. I have 26 years engineering experience in the semiconductor industry but now enjoy myself teaching student to do what I used to do, Less pay and less stress.

I am actually a ME with a specialty in metals technology. I have yet to work in that specialty, but do play at it at home.

Welcome Edgar,

I retired after a full career in many areas of Chemical Engineering, my selected field of study for undergraduate and graduate degrees. Taught Chem E at university then worked in chemicals and iron/steel processing research for 25 years. Now spend my time in volunteer work designing water purification systems and drilling water wells in poor villages world-wide.

This site is composed of generally very friendly, competent and thoughtful engineers and scientists. Although they also like to joke around with one another even though they generally only know each others login name.

Welcome aboard. I think you will like it.
